We shred everything that has identifying information on it so this is a useful tool. I do wish it did more sheets at a time (prior one we had was able to do 15 sheets, but didn't cross cut). However, it does the job effectively.

This product is the real deal and I couldn't be happier. It's well designed and easy to use and does a lot of heavy lifting for me. I really like to the paper bin being removable without having to remove the heavy top/motor.

A little noisy, but very effective. Had a large stack of CDs that I needed to destroy and this shredder chewed right through them. Does great work on paper as well. Makes quick work for any shredding needs.

This shredder is great for everyday use and is not really loud while shredding. I could shred and still listen clearly to what I was watching on tv while using it. Like all other shredders though, it does need time to cool after a certain time of continuous use.

Wii cut 8 pages with ease. Compact size and easy to empty.

Works exactly as it should. Cuts important documents into little tiny pieces were no one can put them back together. Works smoothly and able to shred a stack of papers without overheating.

I had my bank information stolen a few months ago so I'm very cautious on what I put in the trash. Shredding documents with my personal information on them seems like a good idea. So far, the shredder hasn't had anything it can't handle.

Shredded paper into compact, tiny pieces which is great for security. It is slower than the previous shredder that I had that did not crosscut. Paper shreds into a bin that pulls out neatly.

This is a nice shredder for the home office. It chops the paper into small pieces so more fits into the bin. The bin is easy to empty and its on wheels so it's easy to roll around.

Great shredding quality for the price. The only thing I think is overrated is it states it will shred up to 10 sheets at one time. I think if I shredded regularly around 10 pages, it will reduce the life expectancy of the product. Still a very good shredder.

Works great. Louder than expected. Wheels are a nice feature.

I've been using this shredder now, enough to like the way it shreds. Much finer details than my last one. The pull out basket is great. My previous shredder had the basket under the motor, so to empty the contents, I had to completely remove to shredder motor then empty basket.

Good capacity, runs for quite a while before needing to cool off. Like the window on the front so you can monitor how full it is getting. Did not realize when I purchased it that it had wheels - talk about convenience!

The Insignia Micro-cut Shredder is perfect for my needs. The micro cut assures security for items shred. My mode of operating has been, and will continue to be, very conservative. I shred no more than 4 pages at a time and the shredder runs for no longer than one minute. It did great with credit cards, although these were not chip cards. I have not tried CD’s, but I will. I have read that other brands recommend oiling the shredder periodically, yet I did not see this recommendation for this brand. I would appreciate any knowledgeable recommendations regarding oiling the shredder. So far, I’m a completely satisfied customer.

This shredder is nice and smooth. It cuts credit cards, CD's and many papers at a time. Has a little waste basket you remove from the front which is great! The other one we had was from the top and would spill paper all over the floor when emptying, not this one.

We purchased this shredder for our home business. We were hoping it would be a good investment, it didn't last very long. I don't know what's going on with the shredder, it over heats quickly. Now it jams up pretty fast and stops.

Owned this product before, and am very pleased with it. When the one I had wore out, I did not hesitate to purchase another. I love the fact that I can put expired credit cards down and they are shredded small enough that I do not need to cut them up with a pair of scissors. I also like the fact that the paper is shredded not in strips. Very good product.

The unit was smaller than I expected it to be when it arrived, so I thought I might have to return it, but it is very powerful and is so easy to use, clean and move that keeping it was the only option. Excellent value when on sale
