This shredder is nice and smooth. It cuts credit cards, CD's and many papers at a time. Has a little waste basket you remove from the front which is great! The other one we had was from the top and would spill paper all over the floor when emptying, not this one.

Owned this product before, and am very pleased with it. When the one I had wore out, I did not hesitate to purchase another. I love the fact that I can put expired credit cards down and they are shredded small enough that I do not need to cut them up with a pair of scissors. I also like the fact that the paper is shredded not in strips. Very good product.

Shredder works quietly. Size is good. Doesn't take up much space

No issues for over a month now, shredded 2 boxes of documents the first 2 days. It does shut off after 5 minutes of continuous use, just take an occasional break when putting large amounts thru it. So far I would have to say I would recommend. .

Such ease in using. I like the simple design and black color. Easy to clean up. It rolls away when not in use. I do recommend. I’ve owned it for some time now and it’s a little machine that keeps going. My partner uses it also all the time. Happy with It as it Helps me destroy unwanted documents.

I have totalled a number of shredders in the past. This one just keeps on ticking. Had it almost a year and it is going strong. The fact that it is a micro cut shredder makes me feel much more secure when emptying the bin.

The Insignia shredder has been a good addition to our home office. I like to shred paperwork / mail for security purposes. Easy to dump but is a little messy. We have used this for about two years and it still works well.

quiet with good power. cross cut better than expected

I am very happy with this paper shredder. The fact that it is a crosscut shredder makes it impossible for an theft of information. It cuts things so small that you can shred more items before emptying it. If you need a good shredder i would highly recommend this product.

I have purchased 3 shredders in the past 3 years and not one compares to the Insignia 10 sheet Microcut Shredder. It is the only one that after 30 minutes of continued use did not stop and it does not get the cross-cutters clogged with paper.

This shredder is a wonderful one for the price. It's lighter than you would expect, and lives up to it's 10 page shred claims. Not the quietest, but most shredders aren't. The size of the shred bin is efficient, won't require emptying it very often.

Quitter than I expected based on reviews I read. So far I am very satisfied. Only problem was one of the four wheels was broken so I had to get a replacement. Guy at Best Buy got me one that worked and problem was solved.

We just moved and needed to purge a lot of paperwork that had PI. This unit works great for paper old credit cards and CD’s. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

Very quiet operation. Easy to empty basket without spillage on floor. You won't be disappointed in your purchase. I don't the unit everyday , and only for letters or bills that need shredding on occasion .

This shredder works great and does what we need to get done. It replaced a machine that we'd had for years and hopefully will last just as long. You can do credit cards, CDs, and papers.

Very good shredder, takes multiple pages, CD-R and easy to clean

I had tons of paper to shred. My old shredded gave out and I definitely was in need of a new one. I like it very much. It's much smaller than the one I had but this is very compact and efficient... I'm satisfied!
