Best shredder for the money! Are there better shredders? Yes but at 4X or more the cost. Have not had anything stop this from shredding, very powerful.

I’ve always wanted a micro cut shredder since our other shredder quit working. Works great & the bin holds a large amount of shredded paper. Bought it on sale!

I purchased as a Christmas gift as I have had this model for 4 years and it has been working great. Prior to this one, I had others that lasted a year or two.

The shredder allows us to do multiple pages at once. That also has the ability to shred CDs. Really like the way it shreds paper into cross cut pieces and not simply strips

Great shredder! Works like a charm but I would not try to shred too many pages at once since it can cause it to overheat quicker then normal.

This small machine worked wonders with shredding my personal papers, I was able to complete two very large boxes in a day and a half

Cleaned out 15 years of old records and shredded them with this shredder - probably 10,000+ pages and it is still going strong. Would recommend it.

This shredder is amazing! Its quiet and it looks like snow which keeps my daughter entertained. 10/10 would reccomend for anyone looking for a paper shredder.

Been looking for a shredder for a while. This shreds my papers very well that I am comfortable with confidential materials. Shreds well. Good fit for my home office. Only thing is it's not as quiet as I thought it would be. No issues with it otherwise.

This thing save me time and making sure my identity is secure because of how small the paper would come out. Very sturdy, it’s very worth it.

Great purchase! This shredder gets the job done in record time. One word of caution is to not burden it with too many sheets, so keep the max to the 10 sheet. I inadvertently tried to shred about 14 sheets, and the shredder did not take to kindly to the extra sheets and shut down. One thing I have found is it will allow you to make several shredding passes before it may shut down to overheating. It is well worth the price and can handle shredding in a home office environment. You won't be disappointed!

I was unsure about purchasing an Insignia branded product due to prior experiences with a few disappointing products. That said, I can honestly say that they last two Insignia products that I have purchased have forced me to do a one-eighty. This shredder takes around 10-12 sheets at a time but I try not to push it too much. I have taken it to overheat stage twice in the 2 months that I've owned it but this was largely because I had a lot of paper to "privatize." I simply let it rest for 10-15 minutes and it is once again ready to rock-n-roll.

Excellent shredder. We tend it use the shredder a lot, sometimes up to three hours at a time. It handles everything we have thrown at it up to this point.

Been using my shredder for about 2 months and so far so good. It’s a 10 sheet shredder and so far used about 6 sheets at the most. Didn’t even bog down.

I usually don't buy Insignia, but this unit had everything that I was looking for plus you had it at the store. I like the big window in the front and this unit has a guide for the safety switch when you put the bin in the unit so it works every time. My old unit didn't have a guide and sometimes I would have to put a bid in four or five times to make the safety switch. I like the micro cut for my paper documents but credit cards get shredded but the pieces don't come apart. I haven't tried any CDs yet. I would buy it again.

We recently had our old Dynex shredder break and needed one in a hurry. Made a quick run to Best Buy and bought this one. Got it home and used it right away without any problems! Got the job done in half the time of our previous one.

I purchased this item on sale out of necessity because my last one quit working (different brand). The set up was easy, it works as advertised and it warns you when it gets overheated.

Doesn’t Make a lot of noise price isn’t bad. I love the micro cut. Also love the fact I don’t have to take the top off instead basket is easily removed.
