Happily chews 3-4 pages at a time; auto on/off works perfectly for a full page, feels mechanical rather than electric eye which gave trouble on my last shredder. Bin depth is good enough for micro-cut, but would be a nuisance for a strip cut model. Have run continuously for 10 minutes with one or two page per time without any overheating problem. Great machine for a modest price!

Jams if you exceed the 10 sheet limit but relatively easy to fix the problem. I am having trouble with the credit card feature, though. It will not shred my credit cards that are tougher than plastic. Chase uses these. I'm happy with the purchase.

It hasn't overheated after 3 or 4 minutes of constant use and is very easy to empty. The only reason I didn't award it 5 stars is that the paper slot could have been a bit wider to more easily accommodate 8 1/2 " sheets. Other than that, I am very pleased with it.

However, I am disappointed that you can only run it for five minutes then have to let it rest for fifty minutes. My last shredder was not a cross shredder. Perhaps the cross shedders can not be run for an hour or more, like my last shredder.

Strong motor - decent features -- shreds up to 10 pages at a time, or one CD or credit card at a time. Good quality purchase for $80 - "deal of the day". Highly recommend.
