We had an older version of this , and it worked for us faithfully for 8 years.The newer version works better than older one.It will destroy up to 10 sheets of paper, no problem. Hope it lasts as long as or older one did.

This thing does exactly what it says it will do:shred your documents into tiny bits. So far we have thrown at it multiple documents and it has handled all of them with ease. Our old shredder was much smaller and could not deal with more than 3 pieces of paper at once, This thing churns right through them! I like that it comes with casters and you can lock them in place or let it wheel around. The casters are on the smaller side but they lock which is all that I need, I have not tried to shred credit cards or CDs yet - only paper. The only other thing I would note is that the container of shredded documents is a little hard to remove at first, Once you get the hang of it though it is not that bad. I highly recommend this shredder.

This shredder has been what I was looking for - great capacity, powerful, and quiet! I love the fact that it does microcuts for increased security. I highly recommend this if you have tons of material you want to shred.

There was a problem with jamming and overheating with first purchase. So far, this new one has worked well and does not ask me to stop after 15 minutes of shredding.

Works great! This is a nicely sized shredder for the home office. It works like a dream shredding cards, papers and old data DVD’s too. I enjoy how quietly is operates over our old shredder and the capacity is also a nice feature.

I've had this shredder already and it lasted 2 years until I accidentally shredded a coin without noticing it that it was in an envelope.

I purchased this paper shredder almost a year ago. I use it for every day shredding needs. Nothing too heavy or extreme, and is awesome! I like the criss cross cuts. Never overheats, and shreds nicely.

works well shreds into small pieces. quiet and fan cooled. auto shut off push button on top to turn on. has its own basket that slides into the front easily.

This Insignia shredder is top notch. It’s everything I wanted in a shredder. Microcut up to 10 sheets of paper at a time, including a CD slot, shreds credit cards and most of all is quiet.

I love my paper shredder it's fast and my old shredder died on me, this product is wonderful, it gets the job, it's fast efficient and great product for home or office, this shredder doesn't jam amazing.

Nice shredder for home use. Shreds into nice, small pieces for extra security. Our previous shredder lasted about 10 years. Hopefully this one lasts as long, since it was quite a bit more expensive. Runs fairly quietly. Very happy with the purchase.

Does what it should, shred things into small squares. You can put about 7-10 pages before it starts to struggle.

This is actually one of the best shredders I have ever owned. It is quiet, really quiet, fast and shreds just like I hoped. I was a little leery of the brand, but am very happy with my purchase. Would buy Insignia again.

I think this is fine shredder for the price it is much quieter than my old one and the micro shed is excellent. It is pretty simple to use.

I’m completely satisfied with the performance of this micro shredder. Quality performance and I feel a heck of a lot safer now than just a regular shredder. Worth every penny.

I am so happy with my shredder. I’ve had it for a few months and waited to see how it worked before writing a review. it’s quiet, doesn’t jam and can handle all my shredding needs. The bucket that catches the shredded paper is a good size too.

I like it. It’s quiet and shreds well. The trash bin holds a good amount of paper. It has wheels so it’s a plus. I wheel it out from under my desk and back when I’m done.
