It doesn't stop up as the previous one I had did. Super small flakes and fine chopping quick is what it does. This is the way. I wish the basket had a spot to put a baggie in there because it makes fine dust. It really will take care to make sure your paper requires the work of 5 or 6 NSA || FBI analysts to reassemble the baby squares of paper products it makes.

I (once upon a time) had stacks of old paperwork to shred but fear not!! I was able to shred these items in no time flat!! Not once did this overheat. I did have a few times where the papers were too thick and I had to back track them out but that was totally my fault!! I’d give this 10 stars if I could!!!

Nice Shredder for Added Security

The only thing I’m not crazy about is the drawer in front pulls out so you’ll need extra room in front during placement otherwise it becomes a little awkward to remove the drawer. I’m still glad I purchased this product.

This one is so much better. Itbwprks great and hasnt overheated at all. Wish I would've found this one sooner

Hand feed not issue for me, but higher volume might need feeder. Noise pretty good. Container easy to dump, sometimes not easy to pop out.

Immediately broke the latching mechanism trying to gain access to the bin. It does shred well,though.

Don't let your neck chain hang over the slot!

We said that we should get the Cadillac of shredders so we went through the Best Buy offerings. We struck Gold on this one! We decided on this Insignia Brand name as we have another great Insignia product in our home. This baby shreds paper and plastic with no mercy! We don't expect to test it with 10 papers a clip but it eats up everything in it's slots. This is a can't miss buy!
