Great shredder … I made a wise decision in purchasing this shredder… Definitely get this if you have to get one

The shredder is bigger than some of your wastebasket types, but it really does the job. I like that you can shred CDs, credit cards, and up to 10 pages of documents at a time.

great shredder!! would recommend to anyone needing a good home shredder!

My husband and I looked for a shredder to shred sensitive private information. We went to many places including Best Buy. The specifications for the other shredders we looked at did not meet our needs. When reseraching the shredder from Best Buy it was everything that we wanted and needed. Also as a Total Tech member we are able to protect the shredder and ask any technical questions regarding it's use and many other things. I looked at my husband and said this is our best option by far. And it was on sell. My husband said "sold this is called winning!" We absolutely love our shredder. Thank you Best Buy!

Love this machine. Bought as a replacement for the previous model which over the years had "gummed up" (keeping shedder blades oiled and paper accumulation). Excellent upgraded unit in terms of quality and value.

This shredder works much better than I expected, and far better than my 10+ year old cross cut shredder, which was always clogging up and overheating. One good aspect of this shredder is that the paper path is straight down, unlike my old one in which the paper was fed in from the side, which led to clogging up in the blades. So far, this shredder works extremely well and it hasn't overheated even after long shredding sessions. The slot on top is barely wider than a 8.5" width paper so you have to feed in the paper carefully. I also don't shred more than 3 or 4 pages at a time as I don't think any of the shredders can handle as many sheets as they claim. I like the microcut of this one better than my old cross cut version. Overall, I'm very pleased with this Insignia shredder and the price was very fair. The basic construction quality seems excellent and solid.

The Insigna micro cut shredder works perfectly. It shreds paper into tiny non definable pieces. The drive motor is very powerful and easily devours 8 sheets at a time saving me time when disposing of sensitive documents. Its well worth a few extra dollars for this kind of quality shredder.

Working ok, just got it, it's working so far, it's doing its job

We purchased this item to shred over 25 years of paperwork and we managed to do it in one work day of about 10 hours. Product did not over heat and had minimum issues. Worked like a champ!

Shreds paper like no one’s business. And never overheats!

It does as intended. Louder than expected after reviewers said it wasn't. A little larger than my last one, but ok. Still fits in space provided. Is faster than old one. Maybe because IT was getting old.Seems to have a lot of static when trying to dump the bucket and it all doesn't come out. They catch on the rim. over all I can live with it.

Keeping in mind that the specification warns that this is only good for 10 pieces of paper at a time, I have found this to work exactly as I hoped. One can shred credit cards or DVD disks, too.

This is one of the best paper shredders for home office use out there!! It can shred like a boss!!!

I have wanted and needed a shredder for a long time, so by my husband having his own business made it more of an absolute need. Great product, my mom has one hence why I chose it.
