    This shredder was purchased as a replacement for another Insignia model that had done its duty for many years. I decided to go for a unit with a larger tub for holding the shreds. This unit fits the bill. I really like not having to remove the heavy shredding mechanism to empty it but there are ridges (likely to strengthen the tub) that makes it more difficult to empty as the shreds tend to back up on them. Other this unit is top notch.
