Some lasted for a year or more, some only for months. I am very pleased with this unit and hopeful that it will last. It is very quiet compared to others. The bin holds a considerable amount of shredded material.

After shredding for about 30 minutes it stops because shredded paper gets jammed in the teeth of the shredder. So, you have to clean that out and then shreds well again. I believe all the home shredders have this issue.

Easily to handle emptying the shredded content to trashbag . Very pleased.

Good out of the box, but...

In the beginning it was great, but after a few hundred sheets, it started having issues. I think it may need oiled after those few hundred sheets. I hope that will fix the issues, otherwise it's going back.
