I tried shredding lots of old medical documents/old mail/and various junk mail. It started out good/impressive for the first 15-20 minutes. Then it started running hot and automatically shutting off. #2 Paper kept getting jammed and wouldn't"t reverse. Unplugged it til the next morning. Cleaned and cleared everything out of it. Tried shredding again. Exactly same issues as before. Plus some oily greasy lubricant coming out of the shreddermicro cut roller blades. Thing is I never even used more than 6 pieces of paper to shred at a time. Boxed it up and immediately returned back to Best Buy. I am sorry for this review but Best Buy is my favorite/go to store for all of my electronics. They also fully refunded me on the spot.
