When I went to best buy the associate told me that this would work well and in fact it has. My old printer is slightly outdated, but it seems to still work well. I have not had an issue with the cables.

When purchasing the printer cable at Best Buy I was told that there isn't a 3.0 one. So, I'm back to my old printer.
