It does have a slightly thicker covering so it sometimes needs adjustment to properly insert with a phone case.

It functions well and, at 10 feet, allows you to charge your device from an outlet across the room when the kids have taken over your closest outlet. Worth the purchase.

I bought it bc I needed a longer wire bc my old one kept coming out when I would roll over to the other side of my bed and yea I could of gotten the 6ft but why not go longer just in case I need it by the door. And the wire is thick!! So you know it’ll last you a long long time!

What is nice is the 10 foot length. It allows us to sit on couch in the family room, read emails and still remain charging the phone from a distance.
