It’s a lightning cable. What you’d expect. I haven’t had any problems with it while using a case either, a full life proof has enough space for the connector to fit.

The cord is not that bulky. It is a nice braided cord. The length is great especially for using in the backseat of a car with the cord plugged into an adapter into the front lighter. Great product.

The textured exterior of the cable affords durable protection against the damage that is so easily inflicted on 'standard' iPhone cables.
