The cord is exceptionally heavy and cloth covered. I've only been using the cord for a couple of weeks but I expect this cord will last.

Long cord allows you to sit somewhere other than next to an outlet when charging. Great in the car, too, for backseat passengers if you only have charging ports in the front seat
