I was wrong. Ive had 2 of this brand both lasting, give or take, about a months time before it wouldn't charge my phone or would have connecting issues. I have since been purchasing best buy essential cables, which are much less cost wise and seem to be more durable.

But, it stopped working properly within two months. Now it works like a slow charger, even when connected to power, the ipad battery is going down.

I will be purchasing from AMAZON in the future. The clerk was not kind and it didn’t matter to him that I was in the hospital and couldn’t get it back on time.

The ends are made of a hard plastic, and the cable itself is a high quality braided cable. It seems like based on the materials it would be a durable cable. The cable has a very satisfying click when putting it into a port. In terms of expected performance, this thing runs great. It charges my devices quickly, and data transfers were at the rate quoted. One of my favorite things about this cable is it comes with a cable wrap built into it. So it is easy to wrap up and put into an organized state with very little amount of effort. My other favorite thing about this cable is its length. With 10 feet, no matter where the outlet is, this cable can reach. This cable would be great for charging a new iPhone or any Android phone. This would also work for MacBooks and other USB-C devices. Two things to note about this cable: In terms of charging speed, this cable is limited to 60w. For the vast majority of my devices that was enough. But if you were considering using this for a large device, like a laptop, it would be worth checking to see what wattage it charges at to ensure you aren’t leaving any performance on the table. In terms of transfer speed, this cable is limited to 480mb/s which means it’s likely a USB 2.0 cable. If you have devices that’s support usb 3.1 or 3.2 you will lose speed by using this cable.

Seems like a durable material, not as flimsy as some I have seen. When I bought my new car usb-c was the only option for charging which sent me out looking for a charging cord that would work. This makes it easy to be able to share the charger around the car. It is just your typical charger but gives you more room to get things done. Since things seem to be converting over to usb-c it is always nice to have a back up charger. There is nothing worse than starting out on a road trip and realizing that you forgot your charger for any number of devices. It would be great if we could come up with a universal type of charging so this could be the jack of all trades. I'm sure I am not the only one who is sick of having to pack multiple chargers for any trip since every item has a different connection. So I appreciate the push towards universality for convenience sake. Nice functional charger with extended range to make sharing easier.
