Customers commend the 4' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket for its generous length, durability, and affordable price. Many appreciate its reliable performance and the sturdy braided design. However, some users note that the data transfer speed may not be optimal for all devices and charging speeds may be slower than expected. The cable is well-suited for everyday charging needs.

A nice quality long 10 foot cord!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These cords are well made and looks of high quality. I needed a cord to charge my phones and also charge my laptop at the same time and this fit the bill! I really like the rubber grommet to tidy up the cord when not in use and not the normal velcro fastener that normally falls off in my usage. The length is perfect for my usage and I expect this cord to last very long. The box is simple and nothing too extravagant, which I like. Not a lot of waste, which is always a plus. The connectors on both ends are nice and small and perfect for me with repect to phones and their cases. So many times where I come across cords with larger connectors that do not fit due to the case limitations. This cord has no issue what so ever! I get a solid connection each and every time. The color is an off white, which is ok, but I prefer a darker color if possible. You will definately see the dirt on these guy. But as a usb c to usb c, the connection is nice and stable and pretty quick. I have had no hiccups so far.

Stopped Working After Couple of Weeks
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot recommend this with confidence. I bought just a few weeks ago, thinking that the braided cord would make a difference in longevity - but it did not. This cable has stopped working completely, and I will not be purchasing one from this brand again.

A Durable and Quality Cable for Fast Charging
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At four feet in the length, the cable offers flexibility, allowing you to use your phone or other devices wherever you need to but not being so long. The is a versatile and reliable accessory for many of your USB-C devices. However, I would not use it with a laptop and expect it to charge at the laptop's fastest charge rate as this cable is rated to support 60w max charge. The cable is USB-IF certified for power delivery when paired with a complaint PD adapter. This is important when charging a devices that require the protocol like recent iPhones, iPads, Google Pixels, etc. The braided jacket design is nicely woven, feels sturdy enough for most applications but not overly stiff. It is rated as being able to withstand up to 15,000 bends. It has a pretty clean white look. Though, I wish the housing at the ends was not silver. The housing for the connectors are neither large nor super slim but it is easy to connect and disconnect your device without having to remove your protective cases. I don't expect for the plastic shell to break apart from the rest of the cable like a well known pricey low quality cable that comes with your iPhone. I like the silicone cable wrap that is permanently affixed to the cable. You can slide it up and down the cable without feeling like you're going to rip it. It's also nice that you don't have to worry about Velcro like other cable wraps. Don't expect to use this with your SSD external drives, Thunderbolt devices, or any device that needs over the supported 480Mbps transfer rate. This only supports USB 2.0, which is fine for occasional transfers and more focus on daily charging their phones, tablets, earbuds, battery packs, etc. The product comes with a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Overall, the Insignia 4-foot USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is of good-quality, durable, and has flexible functionality for your lower speed data transfer needs.

Very long cable that's very handy for charging
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I initially unwound the Insignia USB-C to USB-C charge and sync cable and its 10' length, I thought it probably lengthy enough to use as a jump rope if one were to ignore its intended use. And with its braided jacket, it might even be sturdy enough. Alas, what that length does do is allow you to charge an electronic device without being tethered next to the wall. This can be pretty convenient in an automobile as well—I have USB-C charging ports in the front dash of my Toyota Highlander, and someone in the back could use this to charge their device from those ports. Charging is what this cable is going to be good at, primarily. It's rated up to 60W so it can be used to charge fairly hefty devices. I was pleased to see that when I plugged it into one of my fast chargers and my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, it reported that its status as "super fast charging." This is good because I've had a few cables that would only support "Fast Charging" which, while still relatively speedy, isn't nearly as good for a large battery like the S23's. While the cable excels at charging and exudes quality in its construction, from the cable jacket to the connectors themselves, it is only rated to 480Mbps for data transfer. This is the USB 2.0 spec for data transfer, so if you're someone who uses USB cables to connect to a PC to transfer photos off, you'd likely have a better time going over wifi. With the rise of cloud services for storage, fewer people do direct backups like that, but know that this might not be your best choice for that purpose. For that reason, think of this cable as something to use for rapid charging and for the freedom the 10' length gives, with data transfer as a secondary purpose. I'd love it if this also supported at least a 5Gbps connection for data.

Strong cable, fast charge, but slower data speeds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a USB-C cable that could hold up to travel in a laptop bag and being unplugged/plugged in often. The rubber ones breakdown too easily and tend to dry rot/crack after a while, so I like that this braided fabric wire is not only strong but abrasion resistant and more flexible. I found that it also tends to tangle and knot less as the sheath has a low friction coefficient. At 4 ft, this cable is longer than most that come with newer small electronics, which is helpful when outlets and adapters are on the floor behind a table or night stand and not so long as to have a ton of extra cable to coil up. The strain relief just behind the plugs could be a little more substantial, but serve their purpose. The aluminum housing on the plugs also won't crack like plastic. However, the data transfer speeds are maxed out at 480 Mbps, which is only USB 2.0, so when used with USB 3.0 and higher devices like backup hard drives, you won't get the fastest file transfers. I'm mostly using the cable for charging though, and it supports up to 60 W fast charging, which is enough for some of my Power Delivery devices but not Thunderbolt-4. It is, however, suitable for powering and charging my small form-factor Chromebook which operates on 45W.

High quality, Quick Charging/Data transfer cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Are you someone in the market looking for a high speed USB C Charging/Data transfer cable for your new iPhone or Android phone or your laptop at a very nominal price without sacrifising on the quality. Then you are looking at the right cable here. Pros: 1. USB C - USB Type C to Type C charging or data transfer is the go-forward standard for most of the phones including Android and iPhones, Tablets, many of the mid-range or high range powerful Laptops, Cars, Power banks, Displays, External storages and much more. USB Type C is fast unlike the legacy charging or data transfer standards (Micro-USB or USB A 2.0 or USB A 3.0 or USB A 3.2) 2. Cable Quality - This cable is made of high quality. The braided cable ensures that the cable will withstand any rough use making it more durable and my number one choice as i always go for the braided cables. Especially with kids around, I prefer going for the braided cable to ensure that the cable does not give up on me within few months due to tangling. I would certainly recommend this cable. 3. Cable length - I am someone who always looks for a cable which is 5 ft or over. This cable comes in 4 feet, 7 feet and 10 feet respectively. I opted for the 7 feet cable which is sufficient for me to charge my laptop or phone or to connect displays or even for data transfer. I mostly use this cable for charging my laptop or phone and sometimes for data transfer. Its easier to use either at home or office or by people in the rear seat of the car. 4. 60 W Charging - I primarily use this charger to charge my laptop or my phones. This cable is capable of quickly charging my phone or laptop saving time. I tried comparing the charging speed of my Google Pixel 6A phone using the Ampere app to see if the other USB C cable that I bought from a different retailer few months ago. This USB C cable charged a bit quicker than my older cable. The charging rate using my older cable was around 2070 mA and this cable charged at around 2080 mA. 5. Transfer speed - This USB C 2.0 supports a transfer speeds of 480 Mbps. As advertised I was able to get the same speed when the tranferring data. Cons: Nothing much Verdict: This is really a very high quality braided cable at a very nominal price when compared to the branded cables which are priced much higher. Features like Braided cable, 60 W charging speed, 480 Mbps transfer and 7 ft of length makes it my most preferred cable. Insignia has simply nailed it.

Better than expected for time. that it remained in
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a year since I bought this cable, and I would comment on it. However, it was Pilfered at a care center where I use the product. That and many other knickknacks as well as my first fraud in over two decades Nevertheless, I have bought more insignia products and found that their brand name is affordably priced but yet not priced at Chinese levels Also produces a better product than the Chinese level products that are typically disposable but ridiculously cheap Weather made in China or other locations, at least some quality control does seem to be present in insignia products, even better than their competition. I would hazard to guess that it's A store brand possibly backed by Best Buy, since Best Buy does have good quality control better than many of its competitors. My insignia case for three and a quarter and two and a quarter external hard drives demonstrated this over another company which boasts to be American made and high quality And yet, the insignia was competitively priced And the high quality item was expensive

High Quality Cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Insignia charging and sync cable is very high quality. The braided jacket makes it durable, but also maintains flexibility. There is also a rubber protector where it goes into each end that will prevent the cable from pulling away from or separating from the ends through repeated use. The braiding should also help prevent fraying or getting cut when accidently caught in file drawers. The 7' cable is a great length to use on my wall outlet (which has a USB-C outlet) to charge my phone, or to charge my earbuds from a USB-C plug or my laptop. It comes with a white rubber cord organizer so the cord does not have to be fully extended and doesn't get tangled - everything is nice and neat. When charging my Motorola phone, the speed was fairly quick - as quick as the cable that came with it. Having two USB-C ends makes charging options very versatile. Overall, I strongly recommend this charging cord for it's high quality - should last much longer than cheaper alternatives. Functional, durable and affordable.

Nice cable, good price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a well made USB cable that you don't need to spend a lot of money on. Charging: while it doesn't support 100W charging, 60W is plenty fast for mobile devices and this cable will work with your fast/turbo chargers for phones or tablets, it just might not be able to handle beefy laptop chargers that need 100W. Speed: 480 Mbps is again not the fastest that USB C can support right now, but this is still very fast and will handle most of your transfer/sync needs without huge delays. Construction: The braided jacket feels like it will last, on the box it states 15,000 bends. The connectors also feel solid and do not feel like they will break. 4 Ft length is perfect for the desk top, car, charging station and many other situations. Being a standard USB-C cable, this is compatible with many mobile devices and laptops these days and Apple sounds like it will even be switching to USB-C for iPhones and other products soon. So good, durable USB-C cables will always have a use for everyone. Can't go wrong here!

Well made cable. No need to pay more.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good low cost braided USB-C to USB-C cable. Well made and works perfectly, making sure you take full advantage of the newer higher wattage USB charging blocks. The cable is rated for up to a 60 watt block and also gives you a 480 mbps. transfer capability. You can feel the quality right out of the box. The cable is braided and comes with a rubber strip to keep the cable folded neatly in your bag until needed. The plugs have a rubber tip at the ends which should minimize any chances of the plug weakening with constant plugging and unplugging of your equipment. Also, a note on the box indicates the cable should withstand up to fifteen thousand bends. Granted I did not sit there and test it by bending it fifteen thousand times, but I believe it to be true, lol. The bottom line here is there's absolutely no need to spend more for a charging cable. This Best Buy Insignia brand cable will work as well as any more expensive brand name cable you can buy. You might as well keep that money in your own pocket.

Does what its supposed to!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used and abused this cable now for almost 10 days. Its absolutely perfect for what its supposed to achieve. - Its easy to untangle, the best part is unlike some other braided cables I've had which have a velcro type organizer to loop the cable, and the velcro over time rips out shreds from the braided cable. This one, has a plastic loop for organizing the cable, so no more shredded cables - Its long enough that it meets all my requirements - I have been able to use it with my phone and laptop - Its been able to handle a 65W charger without issue, and I was able to use super fast charge my phone as well. -I have been able to use it for data transfers as well, without any issues or any unwanted disconnects. There is nothing more infuriating than a lose connection on the ports causing intermittent disconnects. The cable itself seems really high quality and should last a really long time. Overall, there is nothing to complain about here, and I would definitely purchase more if these if needed.

Works great with my iPhone 15 Pro.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took this to the office to use to charge my iPhone at work, so I wasn’t taking my home cable back and forth. This works exactly the same as the Apple branded cable, and also looks a little nicer. The braiding gives it a premium look and feel. It’s not just for iPhones, either! You can use it to charge PS5 controllers, a Steamdeck or Asus Rog Ally, some wireless headphones, wireless cameras, and more. USB-c is the new standard for charging and data transmission, so it’s a good idea to have a few of these cables lying around. I know with reviews people expect the positive and negatives of a product mentioned, but this really doesn’t have any negatives. It’s the perfect length for 90% of applications, color fits almost every decor, and the build quality is durable yet flexible. This cable feels like it has several years of use ahead of it. Highly recommend going out and grabbing a few of these. Keep one in your glovebox in your car, take one for the office, and it makes a versatile stocking stuffer.

Works great, delivers as promised
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't really find anything wrong with this USB-C cable. I'm not techie enough to have the tools or the know-how to actually measure file transfer speeds and other factors, but this cable works just as it is supposed to as far as I can tell. The build quality is nice and braided cables are all the rage now. The connectors on both ends are firm and tight when plugged into corresponding USB-C ports - I don't detect any give or wiggle and the sleeves surrounding the connectors don't seem to be too big or thick to the point that they wouldn't fit snugly into the female end of a USB-C port. The price seems to be right for these cables as well - definitely more economical than other name brands where it's anybody's guess whether the extra you're paying is actually getting you more bang for the buck or just getting you the name brand. All in all, whether you're out shopping for a new cable or just impulse buying a cable (esp. considering the price) I don't think you can go wrong with this brand.

Durable and perfect length
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best cable you can get for your device if you want aesthetics and you need length. Even if you don’t it is great. It fast charges my phone with ease. I love the durable feel and quality the cable has. The braided cable added to the great looks this cable has. And will look great with any desk setup. I go through cables like water and it doesn’t help that USB C cables are expensive. But the cable feels very durable to the point that I am going to be saving money getting this cable. The length is perfect for my charging needs while I am on the couch. I don’t have a fancy couch so I need all the extra length I can get to reach me on the couch from the wall plug. It also eliminates the need for an ugly extension cord that I used to have going across my living room. This is the perfect cable for your home charging needs watch you need it for a computer component on you aesthetic desk setup or you are laying/sitting on the couch and needing a charge. This cable is the one for you!

Good high quality charging cable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia branded USB Type C cable is an excellent choice for those looking for a high quality charging cable. The 10 ft one provides plenty of range so you don't have to be tethered by the wall. With charging speeds up to 60 watts and USB-IF certified it just means most of your devices will charge at their fastest speeds possible. You can even charge some laptops like MacBook Air or Chromebooks. The braided design is not only there for looks, but it's also there for durability. Another thing I like about this cables is the slim connectors, it allows them to connect to your mobile devices that have a case on. It also comes with this handy rubber cable to keep it nicely tied when not in use. This cable is only meant for charging, so if you're thinking of using it to do some file transfers this won't be it. You will be better off with another cable that can support faster transfer speeds, but if you are looking for good fast charge cable the Insignia cable is an excellent choice to consider.

Must have for a new iPhone 15!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say about the Insignia 7' USB-C to C Charge and Sync cable that you can't easily get just from reading the name of the thing? Well, for one thing, you might think that because it is from Insignia and not Apple that it would not work as well with your iPhone, and you would be wrong. Insignia is at least doing you the favor of giving you all the specs for this cable and it maxes out the capacity of the iPhone 15 non Pro editions perfectly. If you have a Pro model the charge capability is still great but you won't get as much data as you could theoretically handle. As for build quality, the Insignia cable also beats Apple. While they both have braided covers for their cables, the Insignia cable has a much sturdier casement for the plugs themselves and superior strain-relief. Given how hard some people treat their cables and such, this cable will last you FAR longer than the Apple cable and at a lower price. For me, this is going straight into my new car to serve as the CarPlay/Charge cable and the length is perfect to go from the lower center console to my phone dock which is on the far left-hand side of my dashboard. The only thing that would make me happier about this cable would be if they made it in black because it is going to look grimy real soon. Don't pay the Apple tax for new cables, give the Insignia version a go and save some cash.
