The cable is well-constructed with a sturdy design. The connectors fit snugly into USB-C ports, ensuring a secure connection. The cable itself is flexible yet durable, capable of withstanding daily use without signs of wear and tear. The 4-foot length strikes a perfect balance between convenience and flexibility. It's long enough to use comfortably while charging your device in bed or at a desk, but it doesn't create a tangled mess. This length is suitable for various situations. This cable is highly versatile. It's compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even some accessories like headphones or power banks, as long as they have USB-C ports. This universality makes it a valuable addition to your tech accessories. The cable supports fast charging, allowing your devices to charge quickly when used with compatible chargers and devices. While it may not be the absolute fastest on the market, it performs admirably for most users' needs. In addition to charging, the cable supports data transfer at high speeds. It's great for moving files between your USB-C devices, such as transferring photos from your smartphone to your laptop or vice versa. The cable is an excellent choice for users in search of an affordable, reliable, and versatile charging and data transfer solution. It ticks the boxes for compatibility, charging speed, and build quality while maintaining a budget-friendly price point. Whether you need an extra cable for your office, car, or home, this cable is a dependable choice that won't break the bank.

USB C cable works with iPhone

As an iPhone 15 Pro owner I needed to replace all of my lightning cables with USB C cables that worked. I had a few USB C cables laying around but they wouldn't charge my iPhone. I had 6 different cables from various brands and they would not work. They weren't up to the specifications needed by the iPhone 15 pro to function as a charge cable. I used the Insignia USB C cable with the same power source and I had no issues at all. This is how I confirmed the issue was with the cables and not the power source. This cable is protected by a nicely braided sleeve and there is enough length for me to plug it into the outlet and use it most anywhere around my productivity space. Now, for the times I do not need so much cable, there is a cable management tie attached/included which I have used to keep things neat and orderly. What I can say is that the cable works with my iPhone 15 pro and provides everything I need in a charge/data cable. The cable length is much longer than what is available from able, and it is of the same quality as what is provided by apple. So why spend more if you can get a better product for less?

Durable 10' USB-C cable with a nice cord wrap

I have been mentoring with the local robotics group and the cable included with their kit is a short 12" cable. For the most part, this is OK, but every once in a while, you get a kid that isn't paying attention and initializes the robot for movement without disconnecting the cable and they end up yanking their computer off the table or possibly ruining their USB port. I've purchased cheap charging cables in the past, but I was looking for one that would charge and sync for this robotics group and I am glad I came across the Insignia 10' USB-C cable. Having a 10' cable means the kids don't need to keep their laptop right next to the robot to push their code updates. It also means that they can run the robot a little bit while still tethered to the PC for quick validation tests. The cable itself has a fine braid and feels durable. For my purposes, I like the white color because it offers high visibility among the many colored wires on the robot. The cable is rated for 60w and 480 Mbps. It allowed me to charge my phone rapidly and I didn't notice any problems transferring my programs from my laptop to the robot. I really like that it comes with a long silicone strap to wrap around the wound cord. I didn't realize how badly I needed a cord wrap until I got it and it makes perfect sense to wield 10 feet of cord that could easily get tangled in my computer bag. If I need any more USB-C to USB-C cables, I'm definitely getting more of these Insignia cables.

    Fast To Charge and Transfer

It seems most devices are now using a USB-C port for charging, connecting, etc. This will come in very handy for anyone having the old cables. This cable is four feet long, braided and seems very flexible. It can charge up to 60w at once, which is really good. It seems to be well made and built to last a very long time. I have used this with a lightning-fast wall charger adapter and it charged very quickly. I have charged cell phones and tablets with ease. I tried it out transferring data from my devices to my desk computer, also a laptop, and it worked just as quickly transferring them. The box states that it can transfer up to 480 Mbps and, in my opinion, it really does as it says and transferred quite a few pictures. Once again the cable was extremely fast considering what I was transferring. I have a mouse that has a USB-C port to charge and I connected this to my laptop. I had no problems with the mouse being recognized on the laptop. One of my smaller laptops that I use with the mouse does not have any USB-A ports and only two USB-C ports and this was really needed for it. I highly recommend getting this particular cable. I found it to be extremely useful with the newer devices that I will be using this with. This particular cable, being only four feet, works with so many things I have without being too short or too long. This is just the right size for the many things requiring a USB-C port.

Good Quality Cable with a Surprise Feature!

The Insignia USC-C to USB-C Change-and-Sync Cable with Braided Cable is a wonderful cable that comes and works as designed. The cable is a 7-ft (actually 7ft - 1.75 inches) braided USB-C to USB-C cable that does everything this cable says it will do. The cable provides up to 60 Watts of Power Delivery and up to 480 Mbps of data transfer speed (your milage her varies greatly). The cable has a sturdy construction and quality connectors. A surprised feature is the robust rubber cable strap. This allows one to secure and store the cable in various lengths and configurations and not have the total length be in ones way. I find that 7-foot cables are a "Goldilocks length" for cables of this type so that it can reach a decent distance without having too much waste while also being long enough to work for most use cases. There is noting more annoying than needing a few more inches of cable and not having it or having too much cable and it getting in the way. A nice thing about this being a white cable is that it is highly visible, making it easy to find when it might get wrapped up in the bedcovers or other places. Another benefit of this cable is the dual USB-C ends - as more an more devices come equipped with USB-C ports having dual ended USC-C cables gets more important. Overall this is an excellent cable and comes highly recommended.

This is a really nice basic cable that really hits a lot of needs for a backup charging cable. First, the length is enough that you can charge it in most scenarios without feeling like you have to set your device in a weird spot to be close enough to whatever charging port you are using. Second, the cable itself is a tougher woven material. It will for sure stand up to a little bit of abuse, which I need. I've had more than one cable accidentally get caught in closing door or drawer of the desk I'm using the cable on. Those cheap plastic or rubber coatings tear really easily and can cause the cable to just not work right. This one should stand up to quite a bit more abuse. It also is rated at 60W. That makes it good enough to charge most of my devices and even a few laptops through their USB-C port. Not all cables can do this and you could be out of luck if you try to charge a computer with a lesser cable. Its not a 100W so some of the highest draw devices may still have issues, but I feel like this will satisfy my needs for 90% of the uses I could imagine having for it right now. This is a great option for anyone who tried a cheap cable they already had gotten included from some random device that seems to not be able to charge their laptops or tablets.

The Insignia™ 7' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket in white is a prime example of a no-nonsense, high-quality product. It delivers precisely what it promises without any frills or fuss. The advertised data transfer rate of 480 Mbps is spot on. It performs reliably and efficiently, ensuring that my files move seamlessly between devices. The braided jacket is a thoughtful addition. Not only does it provide an extra layer of durability, but it also adds a touch of premium quality to the cable. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design. Furthermore, the 7-foot length offers a welcome degree of flexibility. It provides ample room to connect devices without being overly cumbersome or restrictive. In terms of compatibility, this cable has proven to be versatile. It effortlessly connects my USB-C devices, allowing for smooth charging and syncing. I love how this has an attached snap that you can wrap the plug with for traveling or keeping it out the way along with other plugs. That is a nice convenience that’s it built in. I like the braided cable when it’s an option because I find it to be more durable and flexible so I hope this will last for a while. I don’t typically use the USB-C to USB-C but now have so many items with USB-C, I figured it’s worth it. We have been using it for the tablet and phones and it’s working very well. I haven’t yet noticed a difference between this one and the one that came with the tablet. I have also used it with my laptop, not to charge the laptop but to transfer info from my phone into the laptop and it worked much quicker than the previous brand I used. That makes me very hopeful that this will continue to work well. This cable is 7 feet long and seems to be just the right size whether I use it while working or take it the car. I’m really starting to like the Isignia brand so far that items I’ve used. I had some bad luck with plugs in the past and am so careful that brand I use. I rather pay a little extra for better quality. And from what I see, this is good quality for a fair cost.

The Insignia – 10 foot USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is a great, lengthy charge-and-sync cable that does its job very well. I really like the fact that this cable is 10 feet long yet there seems to be no reduction in its performance. Having a longer cable like this is very convenient for when I am charging my phone but still need to have it within reach to use as needed while it is still plugged in. I am able to plug it in to charge next to my bed but grab my phone and use it while still lying in bed without having to unplug it. The other thing I really like about this cable is the braided jacket. It just feels so much more sturdy than non-braided cables and I have no doubt that this particular cable will last a very long time. The ultra-slim connectors are also very nice since they allow me to plug it in to my phone without it interfering with the case that is on my phone. My phone charges very fast with this cable and when using it for syncing purposes, it works just as well. Overall, the Insignia – 10 foot USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket is a great charge-and-sync cable and I highly recommend it!

Let's face it: USB-C cables are a dime a dozen... but they're not, really, and one tiny screwup can mean the difference between a relaxing evening at home with your fully-charged device or an emergency trip to Best Buy. One errant drop or spill or bump and the darn things are broken, frayed, or less than fully functional. As someone who burns through USB-C cables regularly, I absolutely, positively have to have a cable that will not let me down when I need a device charged or to connect an accessory. Insignia's 10' USB-C to USB-C cable has a fantastic canvas-style coating on the outside with a sturdy cable-to-connector neck (no flimsy rubber or abrupt edges here), built-in cable management (although you can't take the cable wrap entirely off), and a super-thick coating that is both flexible enough to wrap but not too flimsy that if you accidentally stepped on it or vacuumed it or had roaming bands of toddlers chewing on it that it would give up without a fight. Because of all of the above, I'm going to start replacing all of my kiddo's USB-C cords with these, and if the USB-to-lightning cords are anything like these, especially the 10' versions, I'm all in.

Been using this USB-C to USB-C cable for about a week and have only good things to say about it. It is well made with a braided cable sheath that feels sturdy and durable. I've bought a lot of cheap cables in the past that have only lasted days or even hours so this one has made it a week and because of the quality hoping it lasts as long as the OEM cables. With the USB-C becoming the standard for almost all devices, including phones and laptops, this cable should come in handy for years to come. In fact, my son needed it today because he lost his cables again. He was also impressed with the quality and said it felt sturdy and worked well for his phone. A few other thoughts on this cable is that it is offered in various sizes but 4 feet seems about the perfect length to be plugged in to a wall and still reach to your desk or nightstand, without leaving much clutter. Also, if there is clutter or extra cord, this cable comes with a little rubber cord wrap that allows you to either wrap up the cord when not using or to reduce the amount of clutter when using the cord. Overall, I am happy with the cable and would recommend it.

The Insignia™ - 10' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket - White, is exactly what is says it is, and does exactly what it claims to do. It's actually refreshing in my opinion to be able to find and purchase quality USB C cables. To many times is a USB C cable bundled in with a cheap piece of gear only to find out it doesn't support fast charging, or data transfer etc. The Insignia™ - 10' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with Braided Jacket - White came in a nice easy to open box, was easily unwound and ready to use in seconds. No fussy clam shell packaging, or twisty ties etc. The outer jacket is a nicely textured flexible braid. The end connectors feel nice and sturdy, and click into place on my chargers and devises nice and firmly without any noticeable wobble or looseness. I really like the extra length also, my old house doesn't have as many outlets as newer houses have, so it's nice to have longer cables to reach where I need them too. Overall This cable clicks all the plus marks, and nothing I could find negative. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quality cable.

These types of reviews are difficult as it is a charging cable, what more is there to say? I got the Insignia™ - 10' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable because I noticed my new laptop only has one USB-A which I use for my mouse. The rest are USB-C. I decided I needed a USB-C to USB-C to keep on hand so I can use my laptop charge devices. As my laptop is a 2-in-1, I'm not always just sitting at a desk when I use it. Therefore I have the 10 foot cable which pretty much allows me to wander my whole office area so I don't have to worry if I have something charging. At the same time, it does have a strap that allows you to shorten the cable if you need to. The cable is braided and quite sturdy so I don't feel as if I'll end up pulling it apart as I have with more, shall we say, delicate cables. It's flexible so it allows for the cable to bend. One thing I do find awesome is it appears my phone charges faster when I use this cable as opposed to the one that came with my phone. While fast charging is supposed to be one of the features, with this cable it was noticeable to me.

Four Foot USB-C to USB-C Cable... Simple and Works

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

With the EU requiring device manufacturers to standardize charging interfaces and the move to USB-C by numerous electronics companies, including Apple (as evident in the new iPhone 15 models), USB-C is quickly becoming the standard to replace USB-A, USB-mini, USB-micro, and Lightning cables... Good riddance! With that being the case, many people may find themselves in the situation where they will need to begin replacing old cables to support this new standard and this four foot USB-C to USB-C cable is definitely a good and affordable option. One of the first things to note with this particular cable is its construction. The cable uses a fabric weave material on the exterior, akin to what was first introduced with Apple MagSafe chargers for MacBooks. The material provides strength, durability, and flexibility, while also be aesthetically pleasing to the eye. At each connector end, the cable is fitted into the connector with reinforced rubber grommets, so the ends should hopefully be durable as well. (For those of us who have numerous cables that seem to "break apart" at the ends by the connectors, this reinforcement is a welcome feature.) The cable is available in different lengths and a charcoal color as well (from what I could find on Best Buy's website). Data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps are claimed, although this is not something I personally tested. The reason I gave a four star instead of a five star rating is that the power delivery through the cable is only 60 watts. While that is more than enough for a cell phone or a tablet, for those looking to avoid having to carry multiple cables who want to charge a laptop via USB-C, 100 watt power support is critical (in my opinion). (Actually, if I was allowed to rate in half stars, I would probably give the cable a 4.5 rating. The 60 watt cap, however, is enough for me to bump down a star rather than staying at five stars.) One other thing that was both nice and goofy is that the cable includes a rubber tie to keep it neat and tidy. Compared to velcro ties that do the same thing, however, the rubber tie does not pull tight enough to minimize the cross section of the cable when wrapped up and the end of the tie extends a good 2" out once secured... Just dangling there. It is also "built in" to the cable, in that, if you want to remove it and use another securing device (such as a velcro strap), you literally have to cut it off. Overall, though, for the money... This is a pretty good cable that will work for pretty much anyone who is not charging a larger laptop.

The Insignia 7ft braided USB-C to USB-C cable is sturdy, appears durable, has well-fitting connectors and a flexible housing that feels like it will withstand quite a bit of punishment. This cord is being used as a replacement for one that frayed and ultimately developed a short because of all the abuse it took from my grandkids. They generally damage/destroy about one charging cord every 3-4 months. I have used this cord to charge several cellphones and it worked quickly and efficiently as long as I was using a fast charger. Please note that the package contains only the cord-no charging block. I have also used it to transfer files from a laptop to an external hard drive. The rate of transfer was impressive compared with the other brand cord I had been using. The 7 foot length seems to be perfect, allowing you to plug it in and still comfortably use your device while sitting nearby. Only time will tell if this cord is as tough as it’s advertised to be. In the meantime I would definitely recommend it since it performs as advertised.

This cord is a replacement for an Insignia USB-C to Lightning cord that I was using with a 20W charging adapter and charged very fast. That cord is awesome but I had to bring my charger home after getting the new iPhone that has USB-C. I had another slower charger at work and it was driving me nuts. I'm so happy to have this cord and my fast charger back. I've stopped charging overnight and had a fast charger at home and at work. I charge while getting ready in the morning and then when needed at work. Including always having it plugged in while driving for CarPlay, it worked out perfectly and I never face having a battery too low on normal days. I tesed the charging time from 20% and 30% for an hour. It went from 20% to 90% in an hour. I checked it every 10 minutes just to see, and it charged to 38% in 10 minutes, 55% in 20, 69% in 30, 77% in 40, and 84% in 50. It went from 30% to 92% in an hour, and it charged to 48% in 10 minutes, 63% in 20, 74% in 30, 81% in 40, and 87% in 50. I would highly recommend this cord.

I recently got an iPhone 15 Pro and the cable that it came with was just a charging cable. I needed a data cable to be able to sync my data with my laptop. I like that this Insignia cable is a charge and sync cable in one. I now leave my original apple cable at home and carry the Insignia cable on the go. The 4’ is a perfect length. The material (braided jacket) seems to be durable and flexible and will not easily break. Transferring files from my phone to my laptop is a breeze, I did not encounter any issues. Charging time using this cable is fast, I did not notice any difference as if I am using the original apple cable. Only time will tell if the performance will stay the same but for now I am satisfied with this cable. It is not as expensive as the others I have looked at. I was initially eye-ing the Belkin one but held off because of the price. For it’s functionality, I think this Insignia cable is the better choice since this is less expensive. I am thinking of getting another one, perhaps the 10’, to keep as spare.

First, The Insignia 4' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable has been a great addition to my bedside table. Having a reliable charging cable has been amazing. This Insignia cable has been great for charging my Pixel device with ease. Second, the cable's 4-foot length makes it easy to use while laying in bed or on the coach. This cable's length adapts to your needs. The white color makes it easy to see. Third, the braided covering makes this cord feel durable. so far I have not seen any twisting or bending of the cord because of this it is lasting through the wear and tear of daily life. In conclusion, the Insignia USB-C to USB-C Cable with Braided Jacket is more than just your normal cord, it is durable, very very easy to see because of the white color and adaptable to my families daily lives. My husband keeps stealing it to us for him self and I keep having to steal it back. I can't recommend this cord enough, you will not be disappointed in any parts of it. If you are looking for a cord, get this one!

This is a very nice USB-C to USB-C cable that has a lot of characteristics that make it a great choice to keep in the car, in the house or tucked into your PC backpack. It is 10 feet long which ensures that wherever you need it, it will be long enough to do the job. I noticed the ends are very slim; this makes it easier to plug into your phone even if the phone is in its case. The cable is thick and covered in a very strong braided insulation. You won’t have to worry about scuffing it or scraping it open or having it break from thousands of bends while using it. I found I loved keeping it my car because I can actually connect it to my charging port in the center of the dash and let someone in the back seats or even the third-row seats charge their phone – very nice. This cable is not just for charging and has a fast data rate. Therefore, it is great for using with phones, computers and basically any USB-C device. I would highly recommend this top of the line quality and very useful product.
