It's audible and annoying from 10+ feet away. I cannot use these to charge my phone overnight due to this. 2. These stop charging randomly all the time. The led light goes red and power stops flowing. They will resume after some time, or it can be forced by re-plugging the pad. Mostly, this just means they charge even slower than they should. It's extra annoying when it starts out red and there's no way to know if my phone is properly aligned without first fixing it.

A few years back insignia make a cordless charger that was great! I ended up misplacing and purchased this one thinking it was similar! Nope! This item is so light weight! It felt cheaper. I had to constanly move my phone on the base to fine the right spot so it would CHARGE! Annoying! Dont waste your money.
