The screen is rather thin, which is by design for rear projection I believe. However, that means that it's not the best option for front projection. Still, it's an okay choice given the price point.

Material is too shear to hang this from a frame or balcony. Wouldn’t recommend for outdoor use or free hanging.

Front only which it doesn’t say till you read way at the bottom of the specs

It might work for you. Just know it’s a pice of cloth that has to be held up.
