It does charge very fast but the struggle to keep it from falling out of an outlet in the wall or surge protector strip prevents me from recommending it for use with a phone. Maybe it's better for laptop users.

Its worked flawlessly until yesterday. One port stopped working. Doesn't push any power out of it. One port does work, but I don't know for how long.

It may fall out of the wall if the socket is old but that is solved by using a short extension cord. It is PPS and charges all of my Apple products. I use this at home and use the old single port chargers for travel.
