Plugs into my mac docking station so my macbook recharges when docked. Could have spent more for more wattage, but no need, and this one does not get hot during use.

Just to confirm, I ran the battery down to zero (shut itself down and wouldnt turn back on) plugged my magsafe cable into this charger and in 30 minutes was at 52%. It does get a little hot but nothing to worry about. Buying this open-box was a steal for the quality and performance and half the price of the OEM 96w charger.

Good for the price

I can't say I notice a difference in charging speed but I figured it couldn't hurt to have, I also paired it with a 100w charging cord. My only gripe is how hot it gets in use.
