The surface of the charger is so sleek and smooth, unless you have a thin case that can grip to the chargers surface, it’s going to slide off little by little.

So it doesn't charge at the faster rate. I didn't use the power source plug in that came with it because that is not how I want to charge the phone. It does work. I can recommend it if using a different power source.
