It just sits there waiting for you to place something on it to charge, then it charges it. I have it on a coffee table where it has been mistaken for a coaster a few times, but it has done a good job with that as well, although it was a bit difficult charging a cup. It didn't complain or anything. It charges devices as I need it to and I have no complaints. I would recommend it to everyone else.

Trying to find the cable next to the bed every tome I wanted to charge my phone and replacing cords after they shorted out was a hassle. I plugged this charging pad in, set it on the night stand and now I just put the phone down to charge it. Also convenient for grabbing the phone in the middle of the night. I don’t have to deal with juggling the cord in the middle of the night.

Not Perfect But Good Enough to Do The Job

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Price is reasonable but if you need a better one Belkin seems to have the best rating and can charge through almost all types of phone cases...Insignia ones are sometimes not powerful enough to penetrate some phone cases...it all comes down to how much you want to spend for a wireless charger...I would say AirPod can be used with insignia and iPhone xs max and pro max should be used with Belkin...
