He borrowed mine while visiting and bought him the exact one at a Best Buy near him and he was able to pick it up the next day. As much as he can...he would rather charge it wireless then plugged it just because its less damage to the phone plug.

I've got three of these in various locations at home and work, and they're a-ok for tossing my iPhone on to top up. If I had one criticism, I wish the 'charging' light were A) not blue but then B) more visible.

I have a pop socket and a metal piece to attach to my phone to the magnetic mount so I can't just place my phone on the charging pad as easily. But it does work.
