The top portion of the cooler keeps soda's, beers and other liquids nice and frosty, not so much on the bottom. So keep the liquids you drink the most on top and limit what you put on the bottom. The only complaint I have is that the digital readout is quite bright and at night I need to cover it since it is located across from my bed. Other than that this thing is great.
