I am still in the return period so I will take it back for a replacement. Looking through the other reviews and this does not seem to be a common problem so I would still recommend this unit and Im going to return mine for the same one

We decided to save space in the refrigerator by purchasing a beverage cooler. It worked out perfectly! Like the lower temp flexibility and internal light. I haven't tried to fit 115 cans yet, but usually don't keep that many at one time anyways.
