It does seem the middle rack is the coldest, but it doesn’t vary much. I have digital thermometer’s in mine they range from 37-38 degrees.

If kids are using it, they dont make sure the door is closed. They should have some magnetic catch or hook/latch.

I enjoy being able to see the contents without having to open the door. It takes a while to bring items down to temp, but overall a nice little beverage fridge.
