Purchased 2 and had to return thinking it was a bad batch. Purchase another 2 at a different BB store and the same thing. I also bought 2 battery-operated mini fans to help circulate the air, and it made no difference. I left it unplugged for 24 hours. Plugged it in and let it cool for 12-18 hours. (never got below 39) I placed the cans, and 3-4 days later, it was still 39-41 degrees. Mini Fridge looks good and it is quiet just not for drinks.

I had to adjust the temp up from the lowest setting ‘34 because several canned drinks froze; ‘36 and the drinks are just right.
