Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still on the fence on this unit I finally got a fridge/freezer thermometer took everything out turn it of fro 24 start it set the temperature to 34 the best reading I got with with the unit empty after 48 hours is 41 degrees I just fill up with 12 16 oz bottles of water the temp is 56 degrees after 6 hours I’m going to wait 48 hours with out opening the unit and recheck the temperature , the unit is located in the basement family room and the temperature of the room is a constant 68 degrees the unit is far away from windows or heating vent , unit at this moment ain’t returnable go call Best Buy to have someone check it

The poor rating is due to this: I ordered this online and received it fairly quickly. Delivery people were excellent, and the box appeared to be in great shape. But long story short, due to unique pandemic circumstances we unboxed this item outside of Best Buy's apparent 14-day return window. When we unboxed it, it has two huge dents in the stainless frame around the front of the door, both on the top and the side. Appears as if it were out of the box at some point, and it was dropped not once but twice (once on the top and another on the side), and then it was put into the box and packaged as new. I thought that even though we were outside of Best Buy's 14-day return window that they would make it right considering we received a very visibly damaged (expensive) product, but they did NOTHING. I spent a full hour on the phone, was transferred multiple times, and in the end was told there was nothing they could do because we were out of the 14 day window. ESPECIALLY in this pandemic when it is difficult to get into a store to return an item that you received damaged, I would NOT recommend buying any sort of appliances or large item at all from Best Buy. They took our money, sent a damaged item, and ran.

I have it set to 34 degrees but the temperature is usually around 40 degrees. 39 degrees is the lowest I have seen. It’s still a good temperature for beverages but disappointed it does not get colder.
