Leaking and strong chemical smell

Had to lay paper towels in it to prevent leaking. Then 6 months later entire unit broke and filled my house with a chemical smell. Had to throw away at least $50 of drinks I had in there. Best Buy would not refund or exchange.

Don't buy if you want it to last more than a year

Then it stopped working, started beeping and throwing up an E4 error code for "defrost sensor fault." Insignia's support response was "it's a month out of warranty, contact your own technician to see if its even worth fixing." Cool. My advice: don't buy Insignia again. I won't.

Door has several dents & it Accumulates condensati

Condensation builds on the back panel and accumulates quickly. It freezes and thaws and freezes and thaws. The refrigerator was delivered with several dents in the door. I attempted to contact customer service, where I sat on hold for 45 minutes just to talk to someone. That person transferred me somewhere else. I sat on hold With them and then the system hung up on me about an hour and a half later. I would still like a replacement. I don’t have a lot of time to deal with this kind of crap. I also can’t go without a refrigerator in my store.

Bought it to replace an aging half fridge that was more than 7 years old that was still working. Couldn't stay cold, says 34 is lowest temp and never got below mid 40's, died after 25 days.

Poor quality product - E4 error - buy warranty

No support, replacement parts or recommendations to help available from Best Buy. I did not buy the extended warranty - you need it for this product. Recommendation from Best Buy support was throw it out and buy a new one.

Not working

At least it looks nice.

Now not only is the temperature a problem but it buzzes pretty loud and has developed ice along the back panel. I unplugged and let it defrost for a day and set the temp at 40 but still had the same problem with ice.

Brand New And Broken!

And the bottom metal legs were bent. I returned it to the store, ordered another one and that one wouldn’t even get cold. I followed all procedures of proper installation and it never got cold. Do Not Buy! It looks cute, great size, and has nice digital features, but too many shortcomings.

Can't trust it

The inside back of the fridge builds up with ice, and then it melts and starts leaking water. If you catch it in time you can easily wipe it up with a towel, and if not, you will have ruined floors like other reviewers have stated. Is that a risk you want to take?
