Not what they advertise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this only because the ad States that it goes down to 35° but just like the majority of you see on the market it stops at 40°, doesn't matter if it's empty or full or how long you wait it stops at 50 the second problem is if you want to know what temperature your drinks are at you will need to purchase a refrigerator thermometer as the digital thermostat in the cooler is strictly a gauge to set a temperature to it does not show what the temperature inside is I will keep it but their ad is very deceptive

This was very well packaged and is high quality. I would highly recommend it. Love it for my extra party beverages!

Error code after 14 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I loved this fridge, unril I heard constant beeping coming from it. It had an e4 error code and I unplugged it but it wasnt fixing the issue. So I called best buy and they put me through to insignia, but since my fridge was over a year old, insignia would not help me troubleshoot at all. Luckily, I purchased a geek squad plan so I ended up bringing it back to the store. I highlt recommend getting a protection plan because that would have been $300 out the window. (It was $300 in September of 2021).

Leaking water in the back, not happy

Was working fine for about a month until we noticed the new laminate floor under it started bubbling up on the seams. Somehow, there is a leak in the back corner where the opening is. Looks almost like the condenser is leaking, as after the unit runs and shuts off, it trickles out, creating a puddle under the cooler that we did not see. Just one more thing that we are going to have to deal with now. Will be returning. Really wanted to like this.

Not a great experience in any way
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item as a Mother's Day gift and the moment I arrived, I knew I had a problem. The box was damaged pretty significantly and was most of the way opened at the top. I couldn't refuse delivery because it was left on my doorstep when I wasn't home. (Thanks FedEx) Upon removal from the box, I instantly noticed the crushed hinge and sharp metal shards sticking up on the right side. I inspected it closer and found the whole frame had been misaligned from whatever shock did this damage. I had taken pictures of the damaged box for this exact reason, too. Things happen and I'm a reasonable person so I contacted BB to figure out a plan to replace the broken item. I should say that I plugged it in and it seemed to kick on instantly. Within a few hours, the thermometer I put in there was at 34* and that was probably with a misaligned door. Best Buy sent out a replacement and I got it 2 days later. Guess what...? This one was damaged in the same place! There were sharp metal pieces sticking up from the mitered edges of the door and anything more than a gentle touch felt like it would slice you open quickly. Again, being reasonable, I contacted BB and this time I was told they wouldn't replace it... one try only. So now I have 2 paperweights in my basement that look terrible. Very disappointed in how Best Buy handled this and as an Elite cardholder and a Total Tech Support member, I expected more. Shame... shame... shame... shame... shame...
