    I liked the style and features of this beverage refrigerator but I ended up returning it because the temperature never got lower than 50 degrees. Sad because a friend has this same model that keeps beverages perfectly chilled. I picked it up from my local Best Buy so no issues with shipping damage other reviews mentioned. This is a good looking, well priced beverage frig, and my experience may be unique. Best Buy handled the return in under five minutes.

    It’s a cooler. Not a refrigerator. It doesn’t get cold even when set that way. In fact, the temp started to go back up. It doesn’t stay cold but only keeps it cool. Bummer.

    DO NOT BUY. Worked alright for 2 years, then developed frost (unknown, at back) and started thawing. Ended up leaking and ruining our hardwood floors. No beep or error message of any kind to alert us to the malfunction. Hardwoods will be costly to repair/refinish. Not good.

    Broken After 1.5 Years, Leaking Toxic Refrigerant

    Don't waste $300 on this badly constructed, DANGEROUS refrigerator. It is designed to fail. Planned obsolescence piece of junk tech. I am SO disappointed with this purchase. I order this mini-fridge through my local Best Buy and went to pick it up in-store. I followed all the directions with transport and installation and kept it in one location in my apartment. It worked fine and is attractive. One day, we noticed the refrigerator was not staying cool and there was a terrible chemical smell coming from the interior. We turned off the fridge and left it alone. When we tried to look into common problems (broken fan, etc.) nothing matched up. We tried to turn it on again and noticed one of the tubes in the refrigerator was LEAKING A FOUL CHEMICAL, likely the cyclopentane - putting us and our home at risk. The water tray in back was filled with the fluid as well. This is a huge inconvenience and DANGEROUS to consumers. All I can say is I hope this company doesn't put others at risk for a shoddily constructed product that fails. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE.

    Buy the extended warranty!

    Loved this little cooler so much that we bought a 2nd one. Did not buy the extended warranty as it seems a simple item and inexpensive. After the manufacturers warranty expired by a few months...on of these has gone bad. Fluctuations in temp, make everything freeze and explode inside the fridge. Which shoots the door open and leaves a remarkable mess! As warranty had recently expired. I emptied it, turned it off for 48 hours and plugged it back in. Seemed to do the trick. Today (4 weeks later) I hear a large bang...and it'd happened again. Called manufacturer for help...got none.

    Buyers Beware...Loud/seems like its overworking

    I purchased this product about 6 months ago. It is currently mounted between cabinets and under a countertop. It is very loud when cooling and seems to have to cool everytime it is opened. By the sound it seems like it is overworking and I'm expecting for it to give out anyday. Maybe I got a lemon, but buyers beware.

    Issues with temperature

    I purchased this product about 3 months ago and have had issues with the temperature. It says it can go down to 34 but the actual temperature never seems to go below 40 even if I set it to 34. The light will only go on if you manually push it, which is not helpful when you're going to grab a drink in the dark and can't see anything.

    Cooler came with a huge unfixable dent in the back, almost like it slid into a guardrail at 35mph aswell as the door doesn't shut all the way, i had to take the door off and reposition it

    Big Mistake!

    I should have believed the reviews stating that the temperature would not go below 42 degrees. Sure enough after giving it 9 days the coldest temp was on the bottom rack at 42 degrees. The top shelf was 50. The temps were taken with a temperature gun which is very accurate. Whereas I had 15 days to return the product for full refund I couldn’t get it back to the store fast enough. The only positive thing about the fridge was it looks nice. Would not recommend.

    Died 3 days out of warranty

    For 368 days I thought this was a great little beverage cooler. Then I got an E4 code along with incessant beeping. 3 days outside of the warranty. I contacted Insignia and due to those 36 hours I had to file an appeal to get coverage. I appealed twice and was ultimately denied twice. Way to stand behind your products Insignia. I will never buy another product with your name on it.

    Doesn't matter if its empty, just a few or completely full this mini fridge will not cool as advertised. I will be returning this item soon. Best it would hold is 42* Unit was properly ventilated and gave it a few days to level out and never got any colder. Was hoping to have the additional storage space for any types of beverages to free up space in the household fridge but who wants to drink a 42* beer?

    Stopped working after two years

    Worked for two years and just quit. Lights work but doesn’t cool at all. Makes a strange noise every so often when it kicks on when it did work.

    Super misleading

    I bought this as a Valentine’s Day gift and he was really excited to load this thing up for an upcoming get together we’re having. Only to figure out “115 - Cans” is absolutely not going to fit in this refrigerator! False advertisement and honestly I feel a little cheated as a consumer.

    Poor quality, won't last

    specs on cooler said temperature would go as low as 34 degrees i am dry aging beef temperature needs to be between 36 and 38 degrees preferably can not get temperature below 41 degrees

    Junk, Dont Buy

    Less than two years old, keeps giving E4 code. Which is defrost sensor. Contacted insignia, they offered no help, after countless emails with them. I'm stuck with $306 piece of junk.
