Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these with a USB bus-powered camera and an bus-powered audio interface, to extend their own 6' cables. The camera wasn't reliably recognized by the Win 10 PC. The audio interface worked most of the time, but had annoying audio dropouts with the iMac it was connected to. Both devices worked fine with only their original cables. I've since found out that 5 meters/16.5' is about the limit for USB 3.0 cable lengths. In both cases I was trying to extend the USB powered devices beyond that with these 12' cables.
