George & Frank arrived on time removed the old chest freezer and put the new one in. They were polite and professional. they did thorough explanation on how every works. The freezer is working great.

It was purchased as a gift for Christmas. The recipient of this gift is very pleased with it. They were in need of an extra freezer and it is perfect.

This freezer is the perfect size for our garage. The upright makes it so easy to stack food. With deep freezers it is so lost for something to get lost at the bottom. With this freezer you see everything and it has so much space. The controls on the front of the door makes it very convenient to change settings. The chime when the door opens is a nice plus for us.

Holds everything I need it to, it has plenty of shelves and room. I like the door shelves too and the fact that it beeps loud when the door has been open for so long. Also like that this can be converted to a fridge as well, looking to buy a second one to have as a garage fridge as well.

Delivery was fast . Easily fits a 1/4 of beef and would probably fit 1/2 beef depending on cuts and if your good at Tetris. Had it for just over 2 weeks and so far so good. Nice and quiet and I like the fact that it has a door alarm that sounds if the door is left open. Has an -11°quick freeze mode that's I love and it can be switched over to a refrigerator and is garage ready..

This model is a big step-up from our previous, same-size, upright freezer. We have only had it now for almost 3 weeks but it is working exactly as advertised. We love the size, it is quiet, and currently being used as a freezer. We like the concept of using it as a refrigerator if needed. The delivery occurred without a hitch and the gentlemen who delivered it were very efficient and considerate. They also gave us the information we needed to have a successful experience. Thank you.

great upright freezer for the price. I bought it on open box and it works great for a freezer. it is small but just right for two people. If lucky, it will work well for a long time

Excellent freezer! Our former one had not been working well because of a buildup of frost. The size made it a very intimidating job to maintain. This new Insignia is such a better design and so much better organized! The Energy Star rating is excellent, so we know we will be saving money, and our food is recognizable! We are very happy with this purchase! the door does lock on closing it - a new feature on all of the newer models, but I understand the logic, and can live with it. I will get used to holding it open while I load my groceries, or wait the 2-3 minutes between opening it for the next batch - not a big deal for the safety issue, particularly since I now have a granddaughter who is a toddler :) The fact that it can be a refrigerator when we decide to downsize and no longer need it as a spare freezer is a definite plus!

So glad to have an opportunity to comment! I am very pleased with my new convertible freezer/refrigerator. It is very quiet, just the right amount of space for our needs and love having the drawer at the bottom. We use it as a freezer but love that we have an option if we want to use it as a refrigerator!

Perfect for our needs. We love being able to see what's in the freezer as opposed to our old chest freezer where things would get buried.

We are very happy with this freezer/refrigerator. Even though we purchased it for the freezer, it's nice to know if we ever need more refrigerator room, we could switch it over. We have it in our garage but it stays at 0 degrees where we set it. There's plenty of room to hold a lot of items and still be able to find things versus a top load freezer where you have to pull things out to see what you have. Definitely a good purchase!

Using this as a converted refrigerator. Perfect size with nice shelving. Seems to be holding temperature very well. So far, so good.

I bought this freezer as a back up to my home refrigerator/freezer. Found out when it was delivered that if you no longer need it as a freezer you switch it to refrigerator mode. Pretty neat. Its only one large cabinet and can only use it in one of the two modes at a time.

I am reviewing Insignia™ - 13.8 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Convertible Upright Freezer with ENERGY STAR Certification - White. I am giving a 4-star review although the freezer stopped working right before its 1-year warranty ran out. BB has scheduled to pick it up and offered me a replacement or money back. I am going to get another Insignia that is a bit larger capacity and will also purchase an extended service package. While the freezer worked it was pretty perfect. Temp was right on 0 degrees, light on outside of the door told us the electricity was on, lots of storage with heavy duty shelving and nice on-door racks. Odds are the next one will last longer.

Of course the pandemic had me worried. Ordered and received this it’s within a few days. The experience was seamless. The item itself is a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be. I wanted a chest, but this up right is pretty spacious. I like that it can double as a fridge if you don’t need the freezer. Definitely one to consider...

This is a great freezer! It can fit tons of stuff. The alarm feature is helpful, so you can know if it is above a set temperature. It’s cool that it can be a fridge or a freezer as well.
