It reached freezer temperature very fast and is working flawlessly. It is a handsome unit and when locked, the grandkids cannot open it. That is a godsend.

Lots of storage throughout including on the doors. Well lit inside. Glad I purchased the upright freezer instead of the chest because is easy to find foods I’m looking for and remove or put back food.

We wanted to ensure sufficient food supply in the event of a complete shutdown, which, fortunately, never happened in our area. We use it as a freezer. The unit is well made. We are happy to have purchased this excellent product.

It worked great for our needs for two years, but then it died. After working with Best Buy support, it was determined that they could not fix it. We had to pay $140 for someone to come and look at it and tell us that there was nothing they could do. I understand that it is a budget-oriented product, but a one-year warranty and two-year life span are ridiculous.

It is now 50% full so it seems to be rolling less. Not sure if it is located in a more open room or not but when the compressor is turned on, I personally think it is louder than the fridge located in the kitchen area. Overall it is a good unit with energy star certified.
