The fridges/freezers are a great value and work exactly as described. Best Buy’s delivery service was smooth and convenient. We had a small dent in the side of one fridge and Best Buy gave us the choice of either a generous price discount or a brand new fridge. Overall great experience.

Bought mine a year ago. It is the perfect size for my pantry in the basement. It keeps everything frozen without frost. No need to defrost. I'm seriously considering getting a second one for refrigerator use. The guys that delivered and set up were awesome and they removed my old chest freezer too.

This freezer is just perfect for us. There is plenty of room for us to store everything we can't put in our house fridge/ freezer. I think one of my favorite features is that if I need to, I can turn it in to a refrigerator.

I just love this convertable refrigerator. I use it as an upright freezer and have had zero issues. It sometimes sounds like a cow when the compressor kicks in but it's not very loud. Apparently it's a common issue with these but for the price it works ad good as the major brands

Great product. I am using it for a garage fridge and it fits my open space perfectly. Delivery team was wonderful.

We are using this item as a freezer as we like to buy in bulk. The freezer works perfectly and have had no problem with functionality -- it works just as described and expected. The reason I have given this product 4-stars is because it came with 2 broken shelves that my partner had to fix which, thank goodness he was able to but certainly should not have been necessary for a brand-new product that we had to wait a month for delivery on. NOTE -- The broken shelves had nothing to do with delivery as the young men that delivered it took it out of the box and took the plastic wrap off of it in front of us in our driveway therefore one can reasonably assume the damage was sustained at some point before it was given to the delivery people. I would recommend that anyone that purchases this product checks for any damage as soon as it is off the truck or at very least, before the delivery people leave because I discovered that it is much more of a hassle than it is worth to try to return the item, seeing as it weighs 80+lbs, once the delivery folks are gone.

This is a good freezer, the temp stays at 0.0 degrees F., it self defrosts nicely and holds much more than the small freezer chest we had previously. The one problem is opening the door. We have to hold the freezer body while yanking the handle to break the seal and open the door. This usually caused the whole freezer to roll forward, and then we have to reposition it just about every time. Seems like more thought could have been put into this door design.

The freezer is great, perfect for our needs, but it came with some dents on the side. We asked for a discount to accommodate for the dents and did not receive. Best Buy did offer to replace the freezer, but that was too complicated for us and had to be more costly for Best Buy than giving is a discount.

Excellent performance and look. I want to get another one so I will have one as fridge, another as freezer.

Love this. Bought one in the pandemic as a backup fridge until our freezer went out and was able to quickly save my food by converting this fridge to freeze by just pushing a setting. Missed my fridge so much I just bought a second one. Had one for 4 years it’s running great in my garage in Louisiana heat and also the door open alarm is nice and loud since I have 3 kids it comes in handy to hear asap if they don’t close the door all the way. A steal at this price

The unit works great as a freezer and I have no plans to use it any other way. The price was very attractive and delivery went very smoothly.

When we started looking for a freezer, we tried all the major box stores and many of the independents. We decided on the Insignia 13.8 at Best Buy because of four criteria: 1. size, 2. availability, 3. adaptability, and 4. price. The freezer /refrigerator is very adaptable in that the temperature can be regulated for use as a fridge or deep freeze. It has an open door alarm, interior LED lighting, and all controls conveniently located on front and center of the door. The space occupied by the unit is minimal, and we had no trouble finding a spot for it in our attached shed.

Just got it but soooooo happy with it already. Almost filled with fresh veggies and fruit Love the door shelves for my smaller pkgs. Basil and Kale fit perfectly. Using it as a freezer. I do quick freeze on all my items and it was so nice not to have to wait a day to pkg them up. Door suction is strong. Really strong. Delivery was great!!so far i give this refer/freezer a 1 plus.

The price compared to another brand was lower. The availability was better so I canceled an order for the more expensive brand. I've only had this a couple of months but it's good so far. I think I mostly liked that I can easily switch from freezer to fridge and back when I want to or need to.

We have already packed this freezer with a 1/8 of a cow and have plenty of room. I love the fact that it can switch from a fridge to a freezer and the auto defrost feature. The gentlemen who delivered it were very helpful. All of the other auto defrost freezers we looked at were $700 and higher.

Unbelievably fantastic. You open the door and everything is put away so you can see it clearly no more stacking everything on top of each other never knowing what you have and always know exactly what the temperature is displayed brilliantly on the door fantastic. Bye very happy with this product.

We like the size of this freezer and it’s doesn’t take up a lot of pace in our garage It’s rated to be able to put in garage Like the upright freezer with light inside and glad shelving
