    Had it for 13 months and it stopped working. If you do buy this piece of junk make sure you buy the additional warranty because you will need it.

    Noisy. Sounds like a wounded cow moaning and groaning. NOT recommended. Still waiting on warranty service after several weeks of back and forth on the phone and email.

    Poor Quality freezer/refrigerator

    Thought this was a great freezer until I came back from vacation to find it has died (after only 20 months!!!) and left me with 13.8 Cu.Ft. of thawed out food - which had to go into the trash ASAP for an untold of loss to go along with the $600 freezer. It appears the Geak Squad only services devices where the extra warranty was purchased on the website. Funny, this is supposed to be Best Buy's signature brand. Won't be shopping there again.

    Worked great for 14 months. Luckily I noticed the food on the door was thawed. Salvaged the rest of the food. Built to last past the warranty.

    The unit stopped working within the warranty period. Best Buy considers this 61”, 160 lb product to be a “small item” which has to be brought into the store for warranty repair. Extremely disappointed both in the product and the service

    Lost $ purchasing and food wise

    Bought it last year in June, 14 months ago. Freezer stopped freezing, had so much food that is thawing out and food is not cheap!! Now Best Buy says I have to take in store to repair… how?!!

    Stopped cooling after only 17 months. The display didn’t show any error codes. I tried unplugging it and letting it sit open for a day, but that didn’t make a difference. Without a warranty, I’ll have to pay $100 just to get the geek squad to look at it and give an estimate. Once we tack on parts and labor costs for an actual repair, it’s a better bet to buy a new fridge elsewhere. $550 down the drain!

    Bought it 6/23/2024 and the compressor quit working 8/2025 conveniently after the warranty expired. Repairman said it was cheaper to buy another freezer than to fix it. save your money

    Worked well for about 3 yeras, but now stopped working. No error coffee displayed on the screen. May have to discard, as cost of diagnostic and possibl we repair is expected much higher.

    The salesman was more interested in getting me to join the rewards club then letting me know my delivery would be weeks away. Instead he told us it was scheduled for Wednesday that next week. Time off work and phone calls was a total loss of about $250 for the day. Went in the store to talk to the manager and he said he couldn’t leave the podium by the front doors to have a conversation with a customer. My goigle review will say the same. Shame on you!

    Fails just outside of warranty - do not buy

    Purchased 9/23/22. On 12/22/23 opened the door and everything was defrosting - no longer under warranty. They can't do the estimate to repair until 1/3/24. Major loss of food. The freezer was installed in a temperature controlled garage and clean environment. We purchased this to "upgrade" from an inexpensive chest freezer which worked flawlessly for years and was still working. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

    Failed at 11 days

    The compressor failed 11 days after delivery. I noticed on day 10 that the compressor seemed to be running each time I walked past the freezer. Then, around 7 AM this morning I started hearing the "high temp" alarm. Thankfully, we had a thermometer sitting inside the freezer as the display is no longer reading a temp. I looked inside and the thermometer confirmed the temp is above freezing. I tried turning down the temp...nothing. I selected quick freeze...nothing. The compressor failed AFTER LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

    I truly wish I could give this item 5 stars. It is supposed to be a fridge/freezer. It did not freeze it never worked. It was a great price, great size and great layout inside but did not freeze...the reason for the purchase.

    Not working - need help

    The freezer will not say on. It keeps turning off. I’ve been transferred to 6 different people at Best Buy and they told me I had to bring the freezer to the store. My husband and I are in our late 60/70’s and they want us to bring it to the store. Crazy!

    Stopped working just over a year of usage.

    I have been using it in freezer mode for 15 months, just over a year, and it suddenly stopped cooling. The outside panel says it’s still 0 degrees, but it’s hot inside and will not cool down at all anymore. The freezer was completely full and all the food spoiled.

    I want to like this freezer/refrigerator, but when the digital display doesn't match the actual temperature it defeats the purpose. To make it worse, there are limits on the range. So a 35 deg setting results in a refrigerator temperature of 41 and settings won't allow it to go lower the refrigerator application is worthless.
