Love this freezer. This is our first upright freezer and I really love it. Works great and plenty of room for all our veggies from the garden. Works like a charm.

I’ve had this for almost a month. It was easy to set up and install, we did it ourselves. We are using it as a freezer at the moment and it does it’s job. The shelves are perfect to display and store our frozen dinners, ice cream and other bulk items. You can adjust the shelves as needed to make things fit. No issues so far. We haven’t converted it to a fridge yet but it seems straight forward to do by just changing the temperature settings that are conveniently located on the front of the door. Satisfied with this purchase!

Out freezer broke in March and I was finally able to get this Insignia convertible Fridge/freezer in time for Thanksgiving. It is wonderful especially since we can use as an extra fridge or freezer depending on the situation. Great price too! I’ve recommended to several people already.

I am so incredibly happy with my upright freezer. It is exactly what I wanted. Cools/freezes fast, is just the right size for overflow stuff from main fridge/freezer. I love the sleek stainless steel look. Couldn't be happier.

Bought this freezer to store a 1/3 cow. Had room to spare. Great looking freezer, works amazing, love the beeping feature to let you know that it’s not closed.

I Bought this when the fridge in the garage finally went; I chose this one because I like that it can be used for extra refrigerator space or you can use if it as a freezer with a flip of a switch. Insignia Seems to be a well made product. The purchase and delivery process was super easy and the delivery team was great.

I purchased one for freezer. It maintains temperature perfectly. The other one I have I use for a refrigerator. Both are in my basement. I mention this because when you convert to refrigerator they recommend not to use in garage. The reason is because it cannot handle intense heat in that mode.

One month plus, since purchase and with Best Buy professional installation, the Insignia 13.8 Cu. Ft. Upright Freezer has worked flawlessly, maintaining a constant temperature of -2 degrees Celsius, inside the freezer, as monitored and recorded by two digital wireless Fridge and Freezer thermometers, placed at different locations inside the freezer. The food items have remained well-preserved and access to them has been a breeze compared to having to dig through them when they were inside the freezer section of the regular refrigerator or the chest freezer.

This refrigerator/freezer combo has met all of our expectations. It’s been running in our hot garage without any issues for 6 months, and hopefully years to come. We love the locking feature, the fact that it converts, and the display on the front. There is room to fit a ton inside as well.

Does everything a freezer should do. Alot of room for it's size. Was damaged during delivery and took an extra week to receive. Definitely worth what i paid during the sale.

Great value for your money. The items stored in the freezer is always accessible, and fresh. The freezer is auto-lock.

This is an excellent freezer. I love that you can go back and forth. I have only used the freezer side so far but it is spacious and easy to get to everything. Love it!

I bought two of these in January 2025. They are side by side and I use one as a fridge and one as a freezer. It’s way better as a freezer because everything is so organized and accessible now compared to the cramped bottom freezer I had before. As a fridge it’s good but has limited organizational flexibility. I’m exploring clear plastic bins. I wish I could switch the handle to the other side so they could open towards each other. I also wish they were designed so they don’t need so much space around them for heat dissipation since they are in my kitchen and not a garage. All in all, I’m happy with them and I love the new setup.

We use this as a refrigerator, in combination with a chest freezer, in our 50's era kitchen (which is too small for today's mega-fridges). We replaced a slightly larger, fancier Whirlpool refrigerator-only which had broken down and was non-repairable at 4 years. While we miss the larger shelves on the Whirlpool's doors, this one is absolutely adequate - it forces us to think about what we currently have refrigerated and to consolidate more. We prefer some of the features of this unit, for example the temperature display and the warning beeps if we accidentally left the door ajar.

We needed a freezer in a hurry and Best Buy had this one on stock. It works hreat and stays extra cold!

This freezer works great! Ive had it for a while now and have zero issues. Plenty of room inside.
