I am one who usually buys big name products, such as Kenmore, Frigidaire, ect. I was leery of a name that i wasn't use to. I'm so glad i bought this Insignia fridge/freezer. It can be used as a refrigerator or as a freezer. I bought it for an extra freezer. It got super cold, quickly. The seal on the door is unbelievable. It takes a lot of pull to open the door. If you can get your hands on one, you won't be disappointed.

Works like a champ. Quiet. Cold. No worries. Even survived the movers brining it to new house.

Love the size of the freezer for an extra freezer and love that it can be converted to a refrigerator also. So far it works great!!

The freezer at 13.8 cu. ft. is a perfect size. The interior layout is excellent and best of the freezer is frost free.It can also be used as a refrigerater. This unit for its capacity has a small foot print. Make sure on inside delivert to make sure on dimesions such as door openings or stair with.

This is a very versatile unit you can use it as a freezer or refrigerator unfortunately for me our unit went down but thanks to Best buy's protection plan they replaced it I have nothing negative to say about the protection plans offered by Best buy or should I say the total tech that I'm a member of or do I have anything negative to say about the unit My new unit is up and running and it's great. FYI love being able to set this to negative 11 and make drinks cold within 5 minutes

So far so good. Have to have time to run it for awhile before we can evaluate it further.

This is a great freezer! Tons of room and stays very cold.

We had been looking for a stand up freezer for awhile now. We were n Wichita and decided to go look at Best Buy. We have purchased multi things from Best Buy over the years. Enough that we have a Best Buy credit card to use. This is also a good thing to do. They have many good buys and deals. We highly recommend them

I have only used this as a freezer so far. Very quiet. I have it in the garage in Houston. Delivery was exceptional. They arrived 15 minutes before my delivery window and had it set up in less than 15 minutes. I love the size. I have a small family and this has more than enough room for my needs. I like the solid shelves. I had a previous freezer with wire shelves but it was not frost free. This frost free is exactly what I needed. Very easy to tell if it is on freezer mode vs refrigerator mode.

Boight to match the same thing but bigger size. They look beautiful together. The only thing is that you have to make sure you close the door...its very easy to leave open.

Our main freezer went out so we needed something temporary, but now we've got a massive backup garage freezer that's quiet and, well, frozen. I would also give a shout to Best Buy's delivery department - on time, polite, quick to install. Compared to Lowe's where we're delayed 3 weeks on a different appliance.

This is a great freezer/refrigerator. I only use it as a freezer due to the amount of smoked meats I store. It cooled down fast and keeps the food frozen. This unit is very quiet, it has plenty of storage and bright lights inside. I really wanted a smaller unit, but now that I have this larger FROST FREE unit, why would I buy anything else. Go with unit if you have the room and not a smaller one, you will be glad you did. No defrosting to do.

I would only recommend this freezer for a basement or garage use. It’s nice, it’s spacious, it’s cheap for what it is but good lord is it loud. I bought this for a meat locker/frozen meal freezer on my first floor and you can hear it wherever you are on the first floor. It has a loud wuring, buzzing noise whenever the compressor kicks on. It very much sounds like a loud grocery store or convenience store open fridge. So if you were like me and you plan on putting this somewhere that you want to exist in the same place also I’d recommend looking elsewhere. It’s far louder than my other two fridge/freezers.

The Insignia Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator is just perfect for my use in the garage for Keeping excess Frozen food in. It is very quiet and seems to run very efficiently. It's 13.8 Cu. Ft. interior is just right for my use. I also liked the idea of it being a Refrigerator or Freezer, the pricing was very reasonable compared to other brands and what you get for you money.

I bought this same freezer years ago and I love it . Have never had any problems , fits a lot of frozen items . We are in the process of moving and decided to leave it with the sell of our house , so excited to see u still carry it so bought a new one for our move - delivered & hassle free
