I like the quick freeze option (drops to -11F temporarily) on demand. The magnetic seal is awesome. A tip. It is on hardwood floor in laundry room and opening it with one hand causes it to move (the seals are that good). I put rubber (squares from an older inter tube) under the feet so you can open it with one hand. It is very quiet. You can only hear it quietly humming when in the laundry room. I like the door chime so I know when the kids are sneaking ice cream. So far so good. 4 weeks.

When I run my freezer down with frozen goods I then switch it to the fridgerator mode and use it for a beverage fridge. Great for someone who buys meat in quantities instead of using a chest freezer. One thing I dont like is it doesnt show actual temperature on the digital display but I dont know if any fridge or freezer does so I cant knock it for that but I would put it on my product wish list of improvements for future products.

It has ample room and is frost free. I like how it can be converted into a refrigerator if needed. I replaced a very old one with this model and it dropped my electric bill at least 100 Kwh the first month.

(2) not real keen on having to push a button to unlock the door everytime you need to get in it... (ease of use)

I like the option to set it for freezer or refrigerator--we use it as a freezer in the garage. Glass shelves are great instead of wire racks.

Best Buy had this one in stock so we ordered it because we desperate and I must say we’ve been pleasantly surprised. It works great and froze fairly quickly after we set it up. There was no option for install when I purchased it so I assumed it was included, it was not. However the item was fairly simple to set up. Great space, a light and self defrosting-we love it! We move across country soon so I’m hoping it survives the move. Will update review as needed.
