It has an excellent seal, so everything is staying cold. No frost has formed even though it's in our hot garage. Being able to switch from freezer mode to refrigerator mode is also handy in case anything happens to our primary refrigerator. The only downside is, the freezer itself is somewhat light, and because the seal is so tight, the door takes to force to open, which can sometimes cause the freezer to scoot a bit. This may not be as much of a problem once the freezer is more loaded down with food.

The interior light and glass shelves make finding things easy. It is very quiet. Don't know about longevity since I've only had it a month. But so far so good. It's my first upright and like it so much better than my old chest freezer.

The super freezing feature is perfect if you want to give it a higher freeze blast for some items. The door also beeps if you leave it open which also helps.
