Unit is in our basement and holds its temperature - we used the fast freeze feature which did work well. Really like the glass shelves and bottom basket. Everything was as advertised has a clean and sleek design for a white upright. Great having the external display for monitoring the mode and temperature.

I had an old chest freezer that worked but was just became a chest to bury stuff in and would have to dig out everything to rotate older stuff to the top. we bought this as a replacement and I have used as a freezer and then switched it to use as a fridge for marinating lots of meat for smoking I am actually going to buy another one for a spare.

In a couple of months we will be getting 1/2 a beef and needed a freezer big enough for it. Until then it will be utilized as a fridge to keep beverages cold without taking up the extra space in my main refrigerator. And it's quiet, which is a big plus, as it's in our family room, where the television is.

Changed from freezer to refrigerator several times when I purchase 1/4 beef. Has performed very well. Glass shelves are nice as is the door storage and bottom bin.

Loving this freezer

It was simple for the delivery guys to install. No more defrosting the freezer. Works great and it will also convert to a refrigerator if we no longer need to use it as a freezer.

I purchased it with the intent to use as a secondary refrigerator. It is a small petite size with more than enough space for extra groceries for a family of 6. It can also be turned into a freezer with a click of a button. I also love that it sings to you if the refrigerator door is left open. A future needed with the kiddos don't always close doors all the way.

We were looking for something that would be a "deep freeze" for an affordable price AND this Insignia has the added benefit of an adjustment to turn it into a refrigerator! So, for those who host parties this is a must have because you can set it as a fridge to store all of your prepared foods and when the party is over, switch it to freezer and freeze all of your leftovers!

We have a chest freezer that has worked well over the years but we were always "losing" things at the bottom. With this upright unit we can easily spot whatever is in there. It has been working well and we are very satisfied with it. Glad we bought it!

There is pleanty of room and it has side rails for breakfast goods and more. The one thing I do like about it is that it also can become a refrigerator if needed.
