I originally tried to purchase a freezer at the beginning of the pandemic in February. No such luck. On a fluke I checked back in April. The 7 cubic foot GE was available. It then kept getting pushed out in terms of a delivery date. While speaking with a BB rep I mused - do you have anything else? I checked the BB site while I was speaking with her and was surprised to see that the highly rated (Consumer Reports) Insignia 13.8 cubic foot upright was now in stock. My luck. Better machine and it was an upright. I now have six months of beef, pork, chicken, flour, fruit, juice, and other basics vacuum frozen. It has a special quick freeze cycle that's important for minimizing freezer burn. Runs great. I'm set. It's an upright so nothing gets lost. Very easy to work with.

This freezer is exactly what I wanted. After the problems with the food supply chain in the spring of 2020, I wanted to make sure that I had a freezer well-stocked before winter set in. I browsed the freezers at all of the major retailer websites, and none of them were in stock. Of all the ones I looked at, I kept coming back to this one. It seemed like the perfect fit for my low-ceilinged dining room, and I loved all of the features of it. I kept my eye on all of the various options, and this one came in stock first. Since it was my first choice, I was really very happy. The delivery was on-time and professional. The freezer has great interior capacity, and the lighting is wonderful. The only thing that surprised was that it needed nearly 8 inches of space on the sides. Thankfully, my room can accommodate that, but none of the reviews mentioned it. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it highly. (Just make sure you have enough room to plan for the extra space on the sides.)

I can't review the refrigerator option since I bought it for the freezer. Shelfs are will positioned for storage of different size and weights. I like the display on the door that lets you know the exact inside temperature. Also like the feature that beeps if you leave the door open by mistake. Delivery team did a good job of removing the old unit and installing the new one. Answered all the questions I had.

Very pleased with this purchase. At just under 14 cu. ft. it was the perfect size to allow us to stock up a bit on our needs. We live quite a way from shopping so this will allow us to make fewer trips. Runs very quiet and plenty of shelf space and door storage. It took only 4 hrs for this thing to draw down to 0 degs. F from room temperature. It's a great value.

I love this freezer. We were able to transport and set it up ourselves. The door lock is a nice feature and it beeps if not closed. You can also set the temperature which is nice. We’ve had it about a year now and it’s still a great product.

It’s a great one. Freezes really quickly. Has a timer so you know it was left open too long. Keeps food frozen at a wonderful temp. Can make it freeze below temps temporarily

I love this Freezer! When I open the door, a chime goes off & the outside information system gives me the internal temperature. I also love the continuous defrosting feature! There is a lot of space between the solid clear racks plus the inside door holders are secured so they won’t fall off when the door opens. And yet they are easy to remove!

Purchased this for our garage. It's the prefect size and works well in our space.

I love the refrigerator/freezer. We use it as a freezer it works great and the perfect size for our family of 3. It is easy to operate, no complicated parts. It does what it was suppose to do. We have had it for almost 10 months.

This freezer was so much better than I anticipated. I use it as a freezer, it's super cold without the frost! I've fit more food than I can imagine into it, 13.8cu foot is really a lot. Fit in my one-butt kitchen like a charm! So far it's been a month and there is no problems with it. It reads 00° all the time, but it feels a bit colder than that. This is such a great product, I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this fridge/freezer!

I am very satisfied with the Fridge-Freezer bought this Appliance before at Best Buy it was a larger model sold it bought a small one.

So far everything works as it should. The spacing inside the freezer shelves. I also appreciate the feature that it can work as a refrigerator or freezer for now I am using it as a freezer and it works perfectly.

Bought to replace and older freezer we had. This freezer seals well and is much more energy efficient and the perfect size for us. Nice feature that it can be used as a freezer or refrigerator.

It's just the right size and supplimenst my needs over and above the freezer size in my refrigirator. Now it's easier for me to purchase goods in quantity, I love this freezer.
