We have always had chest freezers but you have to manually defrost them. I have had this freezer for about a month and am so glad I spent the extra to get it. Not only because of not having to defrost but you can see everything nothing gets stuck at the bottom and hides. Everything is organized! I love it!

I thought I wanted a bigger one but this has so much room inside while having such a small footprint. The seal on the door is so tight that you have to give it a tug to open and when you’re done the door seals tight once again, you can actually hear it. It is everything I wanted in a freezer!

Saw that it worked as both a freezer and a refrigerator. Been using it as a freezer, and I cant be more pleased with the purchase. It has been working great.

I liked the fact that it can be selected to be either fridge or freezer. Price went up considerably compared to the 21cu i bought earlier( not available anymore) that I am using as a freezer . Almost paid the same for 13.8cu.

Large enough for tons of stuff but not overly huge in my laundry room. I love that I can swap between fridge or freezer and the flash freeze option is fantastic when I do a large bulk haul and need to make it cold quick! This is our 2nd insignia freezer and wouldn’t go with another brand!

Best Buy had this in stock and though we didn't know the brand, we are very happy with the freezer. The features are helpful, though user friendly, and a great size for the two of us.
