I've had this freezer for approximately three months and I am thoroughly impressed. Good quality and very nice looking item at a fraction of the cost of other appliance companies. Insignia appliances have not let me down.

We replaced a 37 year old Kenmore with this which still worked fine, The Insignia 13.8 is larger, brighter and stores food well.

Works perfectly well in our attached garage, taking up little space. Very cold and frost free. We do use it as a freezer. Uprights are the way to go with enhanced freezer capability, and this Insignia has performed exactly as advertised.

I purchased this for use at a local food bank. It converts very easily. I particularly like the temperature digital readout on the door. It keeps up with the constant opening and closing of the door during food distributions. A great purchase!

Works well, been in use for 5 weeks or so. No evidence of frost so far. Handles as much as its predecessor, a 15 Cu.Ft. Kenmore (born in 1978) but without the defrosting vey 6 months or the sweating skin...
