We use it in our garage as a refrigerator. So far no problems in the summer heat or winter cold. I love it. Perfect for what we needed.

Luckily I have not had that issue. I keep it set on 35 degrees. I bought this as a second freezer but end up using it as a refrigerator because it stopped working. Little did I know that the fridge that I ordered would be on backorder for two months. It is small to be a fridge for a family of 5 but we are making it work.

Weekend after getting it my kitchen refrigerator went out, and being able to switch it over to a refrigerator was game changing for us. We have since bought a new refrigerator, but we were able to save most of our stuff. Ordered a half cow for the freezer now. Hope it does well.

It has been working great since we hooked it up. And the temperature display on the door is a nice touch.

Great garage freezer

They easily helped me get this resolved. The freezer does what it should. All is operating correctly. Plenty of space.

I wasn't familiar with the Insignia brand, but doing some quick research it is supposedly made by Haier which makes the GE freezers. In comparing with the GE model it cosmetically is pretty much identical but for $150 or so less I'll go with the lesser known name. So far it is working fine 23 days and counting.
