Good value. Read to resolve door closing issue.

Others have mentioned the door not closing all the way. I had the same problem. I found this is due to the rubber seal binding against the frame on the hinge side of the door. Putting a very thin coat of petroleum jelly on the mating surface of the gasket solved the issue. Also, make sure you level the unit. The door and frame will not align perfectly or close properly if the unit is out of level.

I see that unknown for me Insignia brand, see the appliance inside and decided to add it to my order and give it a chance. It’s amazing!!! Works like one of those commercial grade standing freezers where the stores have the ice cream! Just after you close the door you heard for a few seconds the system cooling very fast! Works great! You can use it as freezer or refrigerator! Low noise, received my electric bill and don’t consume a lot of energy. If I have more space I would buy another for use it as refrigerator. Now I like the Insignia brand!

Got cold fast, quiet and lots of usable space. Just wish thermo gave actual temp along with desired temp.will switch to fridge when family in town.

We have had no issues with it not keeping our food frozen. The delivery was very smooth and they wheeled it right into our garage and even offered to unbox it for us even though we did not add on the installation. We hope this freezer will last us awhile!
