It looks good and keeps ice cream frozen. The one it replaced would not do that and was full of frost. Love this freezer.

I got this because I wanted a frost free freezer. but everything about this freezer is perfect. It does take up more space than my old freezer but all of the frost free freezers I looked at were bigger than my old one. It just took about 2 hours to freeze when I got it.

I was throwing out a lot of moldy cheeses and vegetables on a regular basis. I set up 2 different types of properly calibrated thermometers in the fridge - one on the middle shelf and one on the door shelf. I made sure the door was not opened for less than 4 hours. The thermometer is set at 35F, but the interior of the fridge will not go below 40F. Checking regularly, the temp is still consistently running at 40F. This is dangerous. Looking into this problem, I found this to be a very common complaint. The freezer gets to freezing temperature so the unit is certainly capable of maintaining a proper refrigerator temp and yet it won't get to 35F. My unit is no longer under warranty, but I consider this to be actually a defect.

More organized and saves space in the garage. Like the temp gauge on the outside as well. Good medium size with nice glass shelves and storage bins along with good storage in the door for small stuff. I highly recommend. Great value.
