I have used it as both a fridge and a freezer without issue. My only negative point is that there is a loud chime sound whenever you open the door that cannot be disabled.

What is very nice is not having to dig through other frozens to find what I’m looking for as with a chest freezer. With that also being able to use older products first so they don’t go bad. For me this freezer is a big plus over the chest freezer.
