1 week into ownership and so far so good. Like the fact that shelves are glass and not wire ones. Removing 1 star for the fact that external temp display does not show current temp inside but it is only for adjustment.

I am running the unit as a refrigerator. Best refrigerator I've ever had. The temperature consistency is amazing.

I like the drawer that is in the bottoms. Able to hold a lot of food.

I can keep my vegetables fresh and then when the season is over I can freeze my goods. Great idea without having two purchase two items

Good space overall instructions were meager at best. Door needed some adjustment to get to register closed.

It's a freezer. We have had it a month, the food is frozen! It does look good and the controls are easy to read and configure.

Really noisy, hard to open door and slides around on the floor.

Well it is hurricane season. Given that I have a generator I can keep it running if there is a power outage. good to stock up with.

Who would have thought we'd have so much trouble finding a freezer when our old freezer conked out. The usual appliance stores had none. As a last resort we tried Best Buy and were lucky to find the Insignia 13.8 cu ft upright convertible freezer/refrigerator in stock. The salesman told us they were made by Frigidare, he had 57 of them, and they were going fast. That was good enough for me. Not only were they able to deliver the freezer in 3 days, and not 3 months, but the delivery guys called at 7AM and asked if we wanted to move our delivery up to first delivered AM. Great job and thank you for that. The freezer is everything we needed, it's cold, it doesn't take up a lot of space, it's quiet, not complicated to use, and it has room for frozen foods and meats we occasionally buy on sale. We had a 15.7 cubic foot Kenmore. This one is slightly smaller but it swallowed up everything we had in the old freezer with room to spare.

So far so good. I replaced a commercial grade freezer that I had for 18 years. Hopefully I can get the same out of this one.

Died one month out of warranty. Best Buy won't schedule an in home repair, even though I would be paying for it. They want me to take back to a store. I had this delivered for a reason - I can't transport it myself. Bounced around numerous support agents across the globe. Got no where. Lights inside work, temp shows 5 degrees. Hotter inside than ambient temperature outside. Compressor very hot to the touch. Probably will just put out for the trash and buy from a different store.

So far loving my new freezer! Very easy to install. I had a chest freezer prior and so happy I went with an upright this time.

Worked great until it didn’t. Don’t even last 2 years. Warranty only covers the first 12 months. One repair guy wouldn’t even come look at it because parts are hard to find and the second one said it wasn’t worth it to fix. $300-$350 to replace the condenser. So if you get this I would get an extended warranty.

Clean and simple design. Definitely recommend at this price point

Still running strong an efficient after a year!! This holds a about 2 boxes of popsicles on top of a half cow.

we like the we are not hurting a backs any more and we can see all that we have in the freezer and not over load it with the same items.

Solid freezer, never had any issues with the frost free settings and works well in my 100 degree garage.

Just what we needed. Has all the space needed and can be use as refrigerator as well as freezer, love it.
